The rooms in this hotel take you back to the 1980s, with their black furniture and basic ammenities. The staff clearly learned about tourism in some soviet gulag, and its a 30 minute walk to get out of the building site.
Short of actually spitting at us, the receiptionist could not have been more unhelpful, throwing our keys at us, and sighing loudly when asked for small change.
Upon leaving, we were asked if we had taken anything from the minibar - the charming lady behind reception didnt believe our answer, and despite already having our creditcard details, actually had someone run up to the room to check we hadnt stolen anything. We were asked to pay twice for our room. If we hadnt paid up front, we would have walked out on the first night.
