But if not, then run .......
Smelly (urine and old tabacco) unfriendly staff who sit behind a high counter and do not acknowledge your presence, noisy (being near a major intersection and the train station - although this is why we stayed so ..) and a good walk from the old town, which is one of the nicest old towns in my opinion in Poland.
There is no kitchen, no atmosphere because it's more like a cheap motel with no communal area (it says so in the blurb, but we couldn't find it), it's dusty, grimy and dark. The beds were ok, and the shower rooms fairly clean - plus it had a lift so as we were on the 4th floor this was a bonus.
There is a spa just down the road, but again without a kitchen or fridge this was pretty pointless - I'm glad that we only stayed as a stop over and it was very cheap - we paid about £10 for the night so what am I complaining about? There are plenty of other hostels just as reasonable which will afford a much better experience. We got to the hostel, and went out, had a poor night's sleep and went to the station - I wouldn't go back.
