“Needs a real renovation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2012

The hotel is nicely located. The reception staff is professional. Rest of the staff courteous and friendly. The hotel infrastructure is regretfully very communist. Bathrooms are newly done but the rooms are small. There is no airconditioning and in summer you do need it. You can hear everthing happening in the room next to yours ! Even the wake-up alarm in the next room wakes you up. No personal safe in the rooms. No complimentary water ! No kettle or coffee/tea options in the rooms. Bathtub difficult to climb in. Too high. Corridor carpets new and doors too but walls and ceiling from communist days. If you order lunch or dinner in the restaurant be prepared to wait at-least 30 minutes for your meal. Breakfast reasonable. For small children they charge 50%. Too much ! Free Pool, sauna and nice. Fitness room tiny. Massages average. They promise a 50 minute massage wheras actual massage time is about 40 minutes. Parking is pricy. No covered parking ! Bar open only till midnight. Too early for most guests. Do not expect A Club points if you have booked roos at a discounted rate.

Room Tip: Take rooms facing the forest. It is quieter especially if there is a motorcycle rally at that time.

Rooms are fine, clean. Atmosphere is a bit oldschool. Pool is nice and the disco downstairs, just the music is sometimes terrible. We always stay there during Harley meetings and then it is really funny to stay there.

We had a very nice stay here. There's a nice pool, sauna etc, and a decent restaurant. The rooms are pleasant and the setting of the hotel is good, off the main drag in Karpacz amongst trees. We left some things in our room and the hotel sent them on to us very efficiently (we had to pay postage but that's fair enough). We intend to come here again

From the outside it really looks scary but your opinion will change after entering it. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and modern. There's a swimming pool and fitness centre available. The beds comfortable but drifting away so it was hard to sleep next to each other and also not enough free parking lots.

We stayed for two nights and had a day skiing on the slopes next to the hotel - renting boots and skis at the hotel too. All was excellent and the price for the room and breakfast was very reasonable. Only complaint was that it wasn't clear that there was a charge for parking. I didn't mind paying at all but the guy made me leave my car at the barrier and walk to the reception to pay and get the ticket stamped. This was embarrasing and caused a traffic jam for other people trying to exit the car park. It was a bad end to our stay but I don't blame the hotel - the car park management needs to avoid situations like this in future.
