“Where stress is far away..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2013

Nice, old hotel where you actually can come to rest after a day of labour (no phone network, so not bothered ;-)) But there is a wireless network that keeps you connected to the outside world. Nice swimming pool, gardens, sauna,...and a decent kitchen. Realy a place to de-stress.
The only stress I had was when I had to check out (reception only starts at 8 AM.;-)
If you come there, please say hello to Mautitz, the dog of the house.

The palace is a beautiful old building with the XVIII century feel. In the entire building you can find remainings of the old times. There is an amazing garden around the palace where you can walk, take a sun bath or play basketball. Also, there is an excellent pool with a relaxing area. The rooms are named with the names of the calendar months. They are spacious and each room has a bathroom. Rooms are spotless. The entire palace and the surroundings are clean and well maintained. Staff is helpful. The only disadvantage is the food which was below the average. Also, the price is rather high as compared to similar places in Poland. The park, the palace the pool just great. The rooms and beds small and not so great. Not every detail is finished. We enjoyed our stay there for a weekend. It has a great atmosphere. The only thing that bothered us the most was the menu in the hotel restaurant. Food was very average (beside the deserts) and very expensive. As we ate mostly on the terrace it was served almost cold :/ The staff was very helpful, so beside the food and some details is worth of staying.

Room Tip: Get the rooms in the main building.

We selected Palac Staniszow as our base to explore the amazing surrounding countryside and Palacs of the region.

This really is a excellent example of a Country House Hotel. Beautifully set in wonderful gardens and lakes, individually designed bedrooms, relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff and wonderful food . The owners could not have done more to make us fell more welcome and even prepared a birthday cake for one of our party. The addition of the Spa, treatment rooms and gallery really adds to the already wonderful experience and we could not recommend the place more strongly.

This is my first stay at Palac Staniszów & I have been very impressed.

First of all Pałac Staniszów benefits from a beautiful location (which is within driving distance of 2 of Poland's ski resorts) & a great setting including lake & gardens. Forget any preconceptions of Polish accommodation or dining; these guys can compete with anything the UK or western Europe can offer on a like for like basis.

Whilst Pałac Staniszów has been in business for a number years now it has recently under gone considerable development including a modern spa & even it's own art gallery. The staff have been friendly & helpful and the food & wine delicious. It really is a great place to stay.

We stayed here 4 nights from 14th September for a wedding, the wedding party had sole use of the hotel on Saturday and everything was just perfect ,terrific food, good service, well done to all the staff. Job well done to the owners for restoring the building, very baroque though not original. Great value for your money. Only downside for me personally was that I wished they'd put the central heating on, guess the polish people are hardier than me. And unfortunately the new spa was not ready, maybe I'll go back in the summer. Overall this is a beautiful place.
