“Great X-mas time”

We had a wonderful holidays there. Even if the hotel seems to be large due to nice set up, pretty decorations, amazing staff and great food we had feeling to be like at home. If you visit this hotel you have to eat at Ziemianska in the ground floor and try wild mushrooms with garlic in the top floor restaurant Pod Aniolem. They have also delicious pancakes stuffed with duck. If you are disable ask for the room which is not located at semi-floor - there are many of them and are not reachable by lift.

Belvedre hotel is a bit away from train or bus station but very easily accessible by taxi with about 15 to 20 zloty taxi fare . Hotel is very well appointed and has great and helpful staff . It is close to the krupupski street and most good restaurants . The spa is one of the best with 2 steam rooms , a sauna and jacuzzi and a water slide for kids and a good warm pool . The staff is very cooperative and the managers have a very sharp eye on them so the moment they realize that the front desk staff cannot guide the customer clearly , they intervene and guide the customers well . The breakfast was good and has a great spread . Overall a great hotel and experience . Will definitely revisit it in future.

Room Tip: There is a valley behind the hotel with one of the most exotic views

My wife and I spent 11 days in this hotel at the end of July. The hotel is ideally situated for exploring both the town centre of Zakopane and the hills above. It is an easy walk to the busy centre with all its markets, shops and restaurants, but yet located far enough away to avoid all the associated noise and bustle. A short distance uphill of the hotel is one of the entrances to the Tatra National Park with its many opportunities for walking and cycling.
The hotel is a mix of modern and traditional in style. It is meticulously clean with all the usual facilities expected of a four star hotel. Food was plentiful and the buffet breakfast in particular was exceptional. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and most spoke good English. Though we were on our own, there were several families with young children present and these were clearly welcomed by the hotel.
If I could offer any criticism it would be that on a couple of evenings at the start of our stay the food could have been a little warmer but this was soon rectified when reported to our holiday representative. Overall the hotel was very good and we would have no hesitation in returning if and when the opportunity arises.

My husband and I went there last weekend to celebrate our 1 year wedding anniversary. The hotel was cute and charming. The hotel rooms are a little dated but nothing disappointing. Only complaint would be the pillows, they are large and square and flat. Kind of awkward for sleeping - trying to fold them in half to get a normal size pillow with some lift. We had a balcony which was nice. It doesn't seem like there are any spectacular rooms with views but if you go to the top floor near the angel restaurant - there is a great view of the Tatra mountains.

The pool/sauna area is nice. Lots of options for some R&R. Choose your time wisely as there were a lot of kids there.

Breakfast is a typical breakfast buffet.

They do have a bar in basement with bowling and other games. They cost extra but if we were there longer - might have picked up a fun game.

The town is a short walk away - super easy stroll to get there through a nice residential street and park. Maybe 10 minutes if that.

Ate dinner at the Angel Restaurant - it was nice, warm and good food - friendly staff.

Parking was 30zl a night. Not a bad deal but I think some other hotels offer free parking.

Wifi is a little annoying as they give you a super long UN/PW and you have to log in each time rather than just log in once and you are logged in the entire weekend. Or give an easy UN/PW like room number with last name.

If we come back to Zakopane - we would consider staying here again for sure.

This lovely hotel has an old and civilized elegance about it which makes the small things that don't quite work a bit more charming....for example, the elevator was totally out of order during our stay making the luggage situation somewhat problematic. No facial tissues in the rooms so we had to call the front desk to bring us a box. On the plus side, the rooms are spacious, the beds comfortable, everything is clean, and the bathrooms are very good. Very much enjoyed the spa -- many services are offered in a relaxing and warm environment. Had a great hot stone massage. Breakfast buffet is plentiful with many choices for all tastes.....I just wish they cooked the bacon more crisply......to me it was quite undercooked and almost like eating raw pork, so I passed on that. All in all, a very pleasant, rustically elegant stay in Zakopane.

Comfortable Hotel in a walking distance from the city center (Krupówki street). Spent there 2 nights.

It’s a moderate size hotel with mountain style design and décor. Quite nice spa, pool and two bowling lanes downstairs, connected with snooker place and a bar. There are two restaurants – one upstairs serving some traditional food and the other one on the lower floor, more casual I would say. Ate in both and I was quite satisfied. Price to quality ratio I would set on a ‘moderate’ level. On the top floor there is a roof terrace, where you have a very nice panoramic view, especially towards high Tatras and Giewont mountain. Quite majestic view.

Breakfasts were really good, variety was enough and most of things was tasty and I really enjoyed it.

As for the rooms – Imho to four star rating there is something missing. In fact they are too basic and decorated in rather insipid way… Sleep was good, as the area is really quiet (at least off season).

Summarizing, I’m not a fan of Zakopane at all – been there before only during season (both winter and summer) and it was swarming with people and prices were sky high, but this time (off season) in this hotel I enjoyed it. If rooms were more comfy and more like four star hotel, It would have been really great. But still, if you’re looking for a short stay in Polish mountains capital, especially off season, you can consider this hotel.

Luxurious hotel in the middle of Zakopane! Building & grounds are quite impressive. Rooms were terrific, and the dinner & breakfast buffets were truly amazing! A true feast! The front desk staff was not the friendliest, cool, detached. Despite this, I would certainly recommend the Belvedere!
