“Upmarket Dining in Zakopane”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Despite the size of the restaurant there is always a nie atmosphere here. Service can be a little slow after ordering and your starter and main my arrive at the same time. This is one of the more expensive restaurants in Zakpopane and is popular with tourists. If you can, ask to eat in the wolf's lair, you will surely get envious stares from other diners.

“Don't bother”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012 via mobile

Waited 10 minutes for service then a waitress asked us what we wanted without even giving us a menu. The beer is overpriced compared to the competition and so is the food, the portions are very small compared to what you can get elsewhere for the same money. We went for the feast option and finding we had to share a sausage and a rasher of bacon between 2 people was just silly.
Now need to find somewhere for supper as I'm still hungry.
Oh and the seats are bloody hard and uncomfortable.

“Plenty affortable Polish food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2012

We ate twice a the Hotel Sabala restaurent in Zakopane. We were pleased with the quality of the food. First night, my husband had the duck, well half duck, roasted to perfection with golden roasted potatoes. As for me, I had a trout perfectly cooked. The second night, I had a super pork cutlet and my husband voted for pork platter, so big he could not finish it.

Wine was also good and very affortable

“Terrible service, acceptable food”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2012 via mobile

Living in Brussels I'm used to moody and bad service, however, here they do worse! 5 star unpolite service... Food is acceptable.

“Very popular, but overated”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

The position is good, but the food is far from the best I had in Poland. I object to being served artificial cream which is what I got with my dessert here. Main course duck was dry & overcooked.
