“Old and modern hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 19, 2013

The hotel is suitable located in the center of Old City, with the multiple restaurant nearby. Inside there is a beutiful patio, nicely decorated. Room (214) is nicely arranged, bathroom spacious and clean, AC working efficiently. I would prefer more light in the room and bathroom, but this is trivial. During weekend the hotel is not very crowded, and eating your breakfast you may observe a cook preparing your scrambled eggs. As for polish conditions, the price is a little bit to high. If in Rzeszow, chhose this hotel.

We stayed four nights in May. We had booked the deluxe room, but were upgraded to a suite on arrival. The hotel is very pleasant, very quiet although right in the centre of the city. The staff all speak English and were extremely helpful, without being gushing. Breakfasts were excellent, with a vast range of choice each morning, including a chef on call if needed. Our room was cool (the weather was hot - around 27 degrees each day) and the bed very comfortable. We have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Rzeszow has a real buzz. The city square, about 3 mins walk away, is surrounded by busy openair bars, a couple of which do food as well. We travelled the local area using buses and trains. Rzeszow has very good public transport links to SE Poland. All in all a very interesting area.

We had a great time. The staff was so nice. I remember wiolla was so super nice. The front desk very friendly always greeted us with a smile. I would definitely return. The decor is different and that's what I love about them.

This is a very nice boutique hotel, at a very good location. The rooms are well equipped and furnished. The staff is very helpful and quick to respond.
The facility itself is also very nice - the ground floor where the restaurant and bar are located is beautiful. And overall the disposition of rooms resembling arena in the middle, with rooms around on several floors up is remarkable. This should definitely be the hotel of choice if traveling to this town.

Exellent service, nice staff, good location. Spa was gorgeous. Great location in the old town. Walking distance to nice restaurants in the area. Taxi from the airport about 50-60 sloty. Piano music in the first floor in the evenings. Shopping center nearby.

This place is quirky (at best) but most of all quite bonkers. The rooms are very strangely decorated (we had 313 which had a jacuzzi in the middle of the room) and very little natural light. In fact the hotel is very dark and dusty and quite frankly weird. The receptionist on duty was first class as was the barman - who mixed fab 'cosmos'. Breakfast is a bit hit and miss and the omelette 'station' is welcome but stinks the atrium out for much of the rest of the morning. Our room wasn't that soundproofed and the beds too soft for personal liking, but everywhere was clean. Bath towels were small and not that plentiful but the room was spacious.

All-in-all not bad, but just slightly bonkers.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 22, 2013

A friend whose wife is from Rzeszów said that there was nothing special about the city which suited me as I just wanted a quiet city break. From the airport a taxi cost me 55 zlotys, 80 zlotys on Sunday to return. I have never been checked into a hotel so quickly and efficiently as at the Grand. All the staff were extremely well dressed and had an old fashioned courtesy to match.
I had asked for a quiet upstairs room and was given one. Just a minor complaint; I had to stand on the bed to open the window which I did not do often with an outside temperature of minus one!
Don't forget to carry your keycard with you as it is needed to operate the lift as I discovered after standing motionless for five minutes, not having read the notice!
The location was perfect being only a few minutes walk to the large square known as the Rynek
I had most of my drinks and meals in the hotel and was very satisfied with the way I was treated. As I eat a man played a grand piano which added to the atmosphere. Hope to go again in warmer weather and enjoy walking around an ordinary Polish city where the people are most friendly. The hotel was undergoing some building work but I was not disturbed in any way.

Room Tip: My room faced the inner quadrangle and was quiet but I asked for a room on the top floor where there...
