“Just tombs...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

Not something you want to visit unless you're a gothic freak or if your mum is buried there. I'd give it a wide berth...

“Jewish cemetery was peaceful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2012

I liked the uniformity of the graves and the story about the man who was considered a miser and buried in an obscure section but when he died they realised that he had been giving lots of people money on the quiet.

“Very Peaceful Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2012

A whole lot of calm in a busy city. I had never been to a Jewish cemetery before. I loved how it had a "back to nature" feel about it. So many graves....full of history. worth a visit.

“A good cemetary in remembrance”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2012

When you first walk in there is a monument built from the broken headstones created during the Nazi occupation. The outer wall on the side adjacent to the monument is also created using these headstones. Its sad to see that there can be such carelessness regarding human life. If you like cemetaries then it is a must. If you want to see history also a must.
