We visited this restaurant after the street its located on was recommended to us by our hotel. The restaurant is just off the main square and is another old cellar with quirky décor and lots of interesting nooks and crannies. The service there was very good and all the staff were very attentive to our needs. The food here is amazing and each dish comes with it's own little twist. I have the classic French onion soup to start which was delicious and it came with a small side of cheese and croutons to make my own and also a portion of cooked onions to add to the soup as you wish. The tastiest French onion soup I have ever tasted! For my main I had the chicken medallion stuffed with chanterelle mushrooms served with crispy potatoes. It was delicious! The restaurant offers good value for money too, we had two starters and two mains a nice bottle of red wine for about £50. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert but the dessert trolley looked amazing! Interesting and quirky restaurant offering awesome food and amazing location!
