We ate at nostalgia after reading reviews on this site. A member of our group has multiple food allergies and the waitress was more than happy to accommodate his requests and provided a tasty and quick meal.

Another KRK favourite revisited. Located outside of the Planty and away from the main square. We ate lunch with a friend and enjoyed two well prepared salad meals with one having potatoes in a creamy sauce.

The cherry pie - (tart?) never fails to please.

We went there on a Sunday, and did stay in the garden, quite pleasant this is the only positive.

When arriving we inquired if they were still serving lunch ... positive answer though apparently reluctant ...
15 minutes wait to get the menu ... only a few tables were occupied
10 minutes to take the orders
15 minutes to get our drinks
after over an hour we were served the hot appetizers ... spongy fried mushrooms and grilled goat cheese tasting like rubber ... pretty disgusting
after 1 1/2 hour we were still waiting for the main dish ... invariably when we inquire the answer was in 5 minutes ...
we asked the servers when we would eventually be served and understood that they had a problem in the kitchen ... they told us that we could leave without paying ...

A CASE FOR GORDON RAMSAY ???

Partner and I went on good Friday eve. Town and other restaurants were humming but this restaurant was quiet - two tables with tourists. Zurek soup was ok, not brilliant. Mixed dumplings were bland, meat ones most unappealing. Partner had pork knuckle which was quite good however I had the duck with apple which was dry and stringy such that I couldn't finish it. We didn't bother with dessert and left.
