“guide michelin experience”

The 7 courses menu was fantastic. Fresh product, excellent work of the cooker with a zest of traditional polish touch. The decor is soo beautifull. The staff are really nice and smiling. Merci!!!

“Fantastic Hotel, Restaurant and Coffee Bar”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

The dishes served by the chefs of Copernicus restaurant have made it one of the most famous in Poland. Awarded multiple times and recognized by Michelin. It invites the connoisseur of gourmet foods for a daily culinary adventure.

The Hotel’s gothic walls house one of Poland’s classiest restaurants. Its exquisite cuisine and discreet staff won appreciation of Nobel Prize-winning poets – Czesław Miłosz and Wisława Szymborska – as well as distinguished politicians such as Vaclav Havel and Helmut Kohl.

On Friday and Saturday evenings live piano entertainment is provided.
I do advise this restaurant!

“gourmet food, but short of a star”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Chef Filipkiewicz serves a 5, 7 or 12 tasting menu. We decided for the 12 courses to go deep on the kitchen's capability. Menu started out really well, and finished high, however the two fish courses left us short. At 90 EUR this was worth the money, but to get five stars we need a higher level of creativity, and the waiter should not claim that Prosecco is the same as Franciacorta (no supply, not marked on wine list), and that Chablis is close to Bordeaux. Positive: wine pricing, some real pearls, in itself a reason to go.

“Not the best”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2013

Although the hotel is outstanding, the restaurant is average. The food was well prepared, but the service was poor. The wait-staff was very condescending and self-important. Prices are very high, but the chef does present a good meal. I would not go there again.

“Gastronomic polish cuisine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

The place to eat for the gastronomic lover. A limited choice of modern, nice presentated and tasty dishes. From the eight good restaurants we visited in Krakow, it was abolutely the best and merits a Michelin star. Very delicious.
