We'd read about this restaurant in our Lonely Planet travel book, and as it wasn't far from our hotel and we wanted a break from heavy traditional Polish cuisine, we decided to give it a try. It was about half full when we went in and the middle of the afternoon. We patiently waited by the till for service from the young girl who was pottering about behind the counter (right in front of us) so made use of the time trying to read to the menu which was exclusively written in Polish. We tried our best to learn as much Polish as possible before our trip but found it so difficult :-) ! We several times tried to catch her eye and she completely ignored us, even after we said Hello and Excuse Me in Polish. Eventually she just disappeared into the kitchen and didn't return. We waited a few minutes before leaving. WORST EXPERIENCE IN POLAND, as literally everyone else went out of their way to be friendly and inviting.
