Stayed in Aparthotel Spatz for 2 nights in Feb 2008, the accommodation is absolutely fantastic and without fault. Recently refubished everything is tip top and reasonably priced.We stayed in a huge loft style room with balcony.The restaurant was great too, again exceeding our expectations. Spatz is in the Kazimierez district so a 10 minute walk to the Old Town or a short taxi ride away.

This is an excellent hotel full stop, the staff and rooms. It is within ten minutes of the main square, a twenty minute walk from the train station. It is situated in the Kasimir area which is truely a brilliant location. The Kasimir area has a square, I think it is called Placny Square, about a two minute walk from your hotel in which there are countless funky bars and cafes. All have a definite feel about them. I cant recommend the hotel nor the area higher. Krakow is excellent.

I am just back from a 3 day 2 night trip with my partner. We are mid 20's. I was a little concerned with some of the reviews, however the photographs looked lovely so I booked this hotel. Which I may add the hotels did look exactly like the photographs.We were welcomed by a very friendly english speaking receptionist. Our room was located on the 1st floor looking out onto the street. The service from the concierge was fantastic as he took our bags to our room for us. The hotel had a fantastic bar, which we spent a lot of time in as the cocktails were amazing and cheap! The restaurant where we had breakfast was lovely and turns into a mexican at night. The breakfast was great for starting your day off, its not actually a full breakfast but the range the food was very nice.

I don't understand what some people have to complain about. The hotel has friendly staff, is very clean and warm and provides great food and drink, what more could you want. My only complaint would be that it can be a bit noisy in the morning when the maids are cleaning, however at 10am you should be out your bed anyway, your on holiday!!!

I would recommend this hotel to anybody. The location is fab as you are walking distance from everything.

We stayed for 3 nights in this lovely modern hotel, situated 10 mins from the old town square. The room was clean and fresh (even though it was a smoking room) and the bathroom and shower were gleaming. Apart from not having a lift everything else was top notch. The rooms are adequate in size, warm and comfortable. The reception staff all speak excellent english, and were ready to help and advise at every opportunity. The two young lads who opened doors and carried your luggage were really chatty and extremely curteous and polite. The breakfast was buffet style, with cereals, yoghurts, fresh (well polish fresh anyway!) breads, scrambled eggs, sausages, plenty of fruit juice, and tea and coffee on tap. Great bar downstairs to sample the local vodkas and polish beer. Overall a cheap and very enjoyable stay, I can heartily recommend this hotel to anyone.
