What you get for the price at this friendly little old-fashioned hotel is astounding. It is comfortable, quiet, calm and attractive. A friend and I stayed here in July. We had the triple on the top floor (no elevator, narrow staircase--would not work for those with mobility problems). Do not expect luxury or 4-star amenities--that's not the Pugetow. It is a classic little hotel in the old style updated a bit with modern comforts, but retaining truly old-fashioned, gracious service.
No lobby and a cellar breakfast room. Wonderful beds, good water pressure, excellent air conditioning in the hot muggy Polish summer. Pretty rooms. A quick walk to Rynek Glowny and all the glory of the old town. Easy walk to Kazimierz.
I hope to return.
