“One of the best hotels for party-like backpackers!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2011

Greg and Tom Junior Hostel is a fantastic hotel, especially for those who like to party every single day like crazy! The dormitories are pretty small but comfortable, and probably good enough since you're not suposed to spend too much time there! To wake up after a long night crawling into bars, pubs and music clubs, just enjoy a long warm shower in the amawing showers with radio and massages, or enjoy the great polish breakfast. The hotel is also very easy to find, and at less than 5 min from the station and the old city, perfect! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, the best I've ever seen so far. And the company there is really international and so so cool. Well, in short, really a good hotel, unless you prefer staying in a quiet place!

I had so much fun at this hostel! They throw parties or host pub crawls almost every night and they let you sleep in your room all day if you need to. All the staff are lovely and give great advice about the city and what tours to do and where to eat etc.
They did a meal every night (and its actually really good food) so its a great way to save money. It was clean, comfortable, friendly, and it really made my time in Krakow special.
The rooms might seem a bit cramped to some people but if you dont need much space then you'll be fine.
It was easy walking distance to the main train station and shopping centre (mall) and the centre of town.

My friend and I stayed in Greg & Tom's Hostel last summer for 6 nights. We had read great reviews online and booked it straight away. When we arrived we were amazed how friendly and welcoming the staff were, being brought into the kitchen, told to help ourselves to dinner while they checked us in. The room we stayed in was in Greg & Tom 2, it was apartment style, where we had access to a kitchen, living room and dining area. Our bedroom was super clean and pretty, with a lovely balcony and a comfortable couch to relax on. The food we recieved was beautiful, from polish dishes to salads, there was something different but equally delicious served up every night. The staff were so friendly, and the trips and night activities organised were always fun and exciting!
I really can't say enough good things about this hostel.. Which my friend and I both agreed was more like a hotel with a homely atomosphere. The staff really go the extra mile and become like friends. I am currently trying to plan another trip back to Krakow, and I won't even consider other accomodation... Greg & Tom we'll see you soon! And thank you for making our holiday extra special!

Cannot say enough about how great this hostel is. It is clean, you get a wide variety of food available for breakfast (included!), beds are comfortable, showers are funky (equipped with radio and massage function lol) and the vodka nights and other entertainment on offer (wifi, nintendo wii, huge flatscreen) adds to the fun!!
Staff were super friendly and it adds a relaxed vibe to the place- was so easy to meet others on their travels.

Room Tip: As with any hostel, pack ear plugs and an eye covr

Me and my friend went on a weeks trip to poland and stayed here for the entire week. It was a brilliant hostel. The breakfast was great, the staff were friendly, and willing to help. You can book to go on pub crawls, and trips to see the salt mines and Auschwitz at reception.

It had a great location, close to the centre and was easy to find with good directions from the train station.

Only bad thing was the fact that it was really hot at night especially in the basement area, the fan did not help much. Me and my friend also got very nasty bites whilst in poland but these were from being outside at night and not from the hostel. I would recommend anyone going, especially those who react badly to bites, to take some strong anticeptic cream with you... at one point my whole leg was swollen up! not sure what kind of mosquitoes they have in poland but definitely bring repellant!

I stayed at the Greg & Tom Junior hostel in July 2010, wonderful staff that did their best to help me out when I managed to break my leg...
Clean hostel, nice bathrooms, they also organise a lot of activities for the guests.
I would definitely recommend it!
