“Superb rooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2012

My room was just stunning! Spacious, clean and fresh. I can recommend drinking the great instacoffe from Meindl in the room.
The service in the restaurant was realy bad. I had to notify the waitress both to order after waiting for about 20 minutes, and then she had to send me another to get my order. The communication in English did not go so well and the answer to everything was "Yes" and "Offcourse" even though she did not understand some basic parts, for example what a straw for your Coke is. Service in other parts of the hotel, like the reception, was okay or above.
Also note and be aware that they seem to use some old fashioned way of billing you, where they might want your card information and signature (credit card fraud?!). I simply declined this and payed in advance.

Stayed at the hotel 9 to 13 December. The hotel has a excellent location: Christmas market at the door step, next to a huge shopping center and the rail road station. The old city is just across the street, which can convenient be reach by the walking tunnel below the street.
The service in the bar is quick and good. The food and service in the restaurant is excellent. Really tasty food and good selection. I was served free appetizer and warm bread at every dinner.
The size of the room is good, and have a huge bathroom, with separate shower and bath. Cleaning was spotless. Free wifi in the room was working ok, even as I need to reconnect once a hour to get it free (possible to pay for continuously faster connection).
Room card is needed to be able to use the lifts from the lobby.

Spent a week at Andel's in July 2012 and loved the hotel. The rooms are beautiful (70-style but classy, bathrooms with both shower and bath), fantastic value, food and drinks are great, and the people working there so nice. It only takes 10 minutes to go to the main square (and plenty of taxis outside) and it was easy to walk around the center. It is close to a train station and a huge shopping mall, but still very quiet and nice area. Going back in a month and really looking forward to it.

We have just spent 3 nights at the Andel's Hotel on our first visit to Krakow. After landing at the airport, we jumped on the train which cost £9 for two of us return, this journey took less than 20 minutes and once there the hotel was a 2 minute walk away. The hotel itself is modern, bright, very clean and in a fantastic location. The square outside the hotel had just opened up with Christmas stalls and was beautiful. Our room overlooked this square, and was spacious, clean, had all the usual amenities (we had slippers but no robes so I think you only get these in the executive rooms), haridryer, tea/coffee etc. My only 2 little niggles were the lack of wardrobe space (I know this has been mentioned numerous times before, but there is hanging space but no drawer space for underwear/t-shirts/jumpers etc), so we ended up "living out of the suitcase" for the clothes that couldnt be hung up, and the shower - ended up seeping under the glass door and soaking the floor through on the outside.
We used the sauna every night which was very relaxing after walking round sightseeing all day.
Breakfast was brilliant, everything you could ask for and there was an egg station for freshly cooked eggs of your choice. All staff we encountered were friendly, helpful (ringing taxis for us) and couldnt do enough for you. We went to Auschwitz which we had pre-booked prior to arriving with Escape 2 Poland (would recommend) and were handed over to an English speaking guide once we arrived for the day. It was very organised.
Krakow was a beautiful city, food and drink very cheap we ate at Zielona Kuchnia, Starka Restaurant, Wesele, Marmolada and they were all excellent (Starka was our favourite). We went to the Castle, walked by the river, visited the Kazimierz district, mooched down all the little cobbled streets off and around the square. The Christmas Market in the main square was being built and I think it opens this coming weekend, so if you want to visit when that is open I would say definitely leave your trip until the beginning of December. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return and choose to stay at Andels Hotel again.

We have just stayed 3 nights here.
Good breakfast, very clean and modern rooms, loved the bathroom.
We where impressed with how quiet it was.
Hardly any noise at all, which made our stay very relaxing.
Didnt test the restaurant but enjoyed the bar. Hotel is close to everything; shopping centre, railway station and main market.
Good and helpful staff.
We will definetly be back!

Just spent 2 nights at this hotel. The location was excellent, just 2 mins walk to the Krakow Glowny train station, and right next to a beautiful shopping centre with 270 shops on 3 levels. The Christmas markets were being set up outside with ice rink the night before we left, and would have been magical. The buffet breakfast included in the price of the room was one of the best, you could not fault the quality and service. The room was modern, spotlessly clean and we had a balcony view overlooking the walkway and park which was interesting, not at all noisy even though next to busy streets. Just minutes away from the old town with its cobbled streets and horse/carriages for tourists in the market square. Krakow is excellent value for money, we plan to return and spend longer next time as not possible to see everything.

This hotel is in a fantastic location with everything nearby. Christmas market with ice rink right outside the hotel which is a bonus. Breakfast is fantastic quality and the hotel bar has a lovely atmosphere. Room are spacious and modern and the bathroom is even nicer with fantastic modern lighting. Only one thing the room could do with is a little more cupboard space. When I arrived u expected the rooms to be noisy due to main roads and shopping centre next door but you hardly here a thing.
Would definetly recommend this hotel.
