“Poignant...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2013

This museum added a new dimension to my understanding of the loss of Jewish life here in Europe...not only in terms of lives lost, but also the irreplaceable richness of culture, intelligentsia, spiritual leadership. The photos convey the story in a manner which really hits the heart. Thank you.

“Well worth it, and not too far from rest of the Jewish Quarter”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Get a guided tour around the museum and enjoy. The museum does not just review the most well knows sights/stories that we've all heard about. Their rich understanding and review of history will give you a clear and unique glimpse into history. Well worth your time.

“Very informative”

Well worth a visit - in the Jewish Quarter. Lots of poignant pictures of Auschwitz and Birkenau. Found the Jewish Quarter quite disappointing

“Jewish History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 26, 2013

This museum in the Jewish District gives a picture of Jewish culture and heritage. There are pictures of synagogues and mass graves in Poland. This museum is not very big however its bookshop offers an impressive selection of books in many languages for sale.
Great value for money.

“Well worth a visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2013

I visited the museum the day before I visited the concentration camp at Austwitch and Birenau and it gave a foretaste of what to expect. A picture tells a thousand words and they showed the hardship endured by the Jews. It was excellent, well laid out and the only thing that could have enhanced the visit would be a couple of benches to sit and ponder on the pictures.
The book shop at the musuem is excellent with plenty of books in English for sale
