“Good rooms, great location, average staff.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

This hostel is in a good location, a ten minute walk to the old town centre, and under 10 minutes From the major train station and shopping centre. There are limited toilets and showers around the dorms rooms, but this was never a issue as the hostel wasn't full when I stayed (in low season). They were always clean. There is a small communal kitchen and some helpful information about tours at reception. The only let down was the staff, who were quite unfriendly, slow and unhelpful. Rates were good value.

Hey there.

We were 14 guys visiting you in a long weekend this february, and we got dorm with 12 bed spaces. No worries, we got 2 extra beds and enjoyed our stay. Staff was awesome, beds was fine, and we couldn't ask for much more, of the amount of money we payed for our stay.

We'll be happy to visit you sometime again.

Best regards, your guys from denmark

Room Tip: Enjoy, this is a cheap hostel with a nice and friendly staff.

I stayed here several times, and it's always been a good experience. The staff is friendly, the location is very good, and it's pretty clean, especially in bathrooms. Everything was really cool, I met some nice people. The only thing that's really annoying are the beds which, although comfortable, squeak all the time, even if you move your leg. Still, it's worth visiting.

A great hostel if you travel a big group.
The staff was amazing and friendly. Helped us with a lot of things.

The beds are nice and clean, as is the bathrooms and showers which is cleaned twice a day I think.

Only located 5-10 min. walk from the "City Centre" in a nice and quiet neighbourhood!

went here with a group of 9 lads for my birthday, everything that is expected basic room, with a shower to share between with two other rooms, everything kept fairly clean however the bed's arent the best! best suited towards a group of lads! close to main square where there is plenty to do, food an drink is extremely cheap and good atmosphere throughout the day in the main square in the bars you should expect to pay £1-1.50 for a pint!

The place is fine and the staff friendly. The location could be better (closer to Old Town), the good point is that it's closer to the train/bus stations.
The hostel is clean but when I stayed there, some light work was still going on in the common room.
Concerning the noise matter, the neighbors were partying one night and it got really noisy! The other night (I stayed 2) was alright though.

We stayed for two weeks. One week in a room and kitchen second in a room in the main building. Other than the staff having a little party of there own one night and a man with mental problems that stayed the whole time we were there, this place was not so bad. Could have been worse. At least it was warm and clean.
