“The Monday Night Girls”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2013

We had a fabulous four night break at the Wielopole Hotel where we could not have asked for friendlier and more efficient Staff - Our rooms to the front of the hotel were clean and well dressed. The situation of this Hotel suited our every need. We would recommend this hotel to all of our friends. The very efficient staff organised our pick-up from the Airport and back. They also booked our tours - we were most impressed - THANK YOU.

Room Tip: Rooms to the front lived up to expectations

There were five of us staying for 1 night to see Krakow. Arrived early due to flights, staff were very helpful organising our rooms even though we were before Check-In time and also clearly explained location and maps in English, to help us find the places we wished to see. Rooms clean and modern with tea and coffee facilities. Walking distance to square, castle etc. making it very easy for us to sightsee. Great breakfast included. Would return again and stay longer. Wifi a bonus.

Located just 10 minute walk from the old square 15 minutes to castle wawel it is perfect for sightseeing. Breakfast continental style but we had no problem with that, rooms clean and tidy tea coffee making facilities in room but only free first night have to pay to replenish if required. Reception staff excellent, very good English also very helpful, did not use restaurant in evening as they only do vegetarian food however plenty restaurants close by make sure you use one recommended by reception staff great food very reasonably priced .If you wish to do Auschwitz can recommend tour from hotel we also used their taxi for airport transfers. The only negative comment I can give is be prepared for the busyness in the street day and night but rooms are well sound proofed. We spent four nights there and were well contented.

In great location, 2 mins from square. Have been to Krakow a 5 times just as good as the Grande and the Saski. Staff were very friendly and helpful and organised trips for friends. Room was clean and comfy with tea and coffee facilities. Would definitely recommend the Wielpole

Room Tip: we had a room at the front, might be better at the back , quite noisy

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 3 days in Wielopole Hotel, begin October.
The staff was very friendly, helpfull and spoke English. Hotel is not that big, but was clean and all necassary things are there. Also the price is very nice.

What we especially liked was the fact it is close to the Market Square (center) of Krakau. Only 5-10 minute walk. We did everything by foot those days.

Breakfast is there, nothing special (what can you expect for that price) but sufficient for us.

Next time we come to Krakau we will surely book here again.

A truly excellent hotel. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, location was close to City centre with secure parking nearby. Would definitely recommend for comfort and value.

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in Hotel Wielopole and it was a very good experience. The hotel is ideally located near trams to the major tourist sites, although you can reach Rynek Glowny (Market Square) and castle with a very pleasant a 10-15 minute walk. We also appreciated the hotel's close proximity to good restaurants and pubs! I have tried to think of a suggestion for improvement, but I really can't think of one. Our shower drain was a bit slow, but was fixed immediately after we notified the front desk. Excellent service, very friendly staff, and a yummy breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room Tip: Try to get a room that does not face the street. The Holiday Inn across the street had a constructi...
