“A great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

I spent 4 nights at Wielopole Hotel in mid-December 2012 and loved every minute of my stay. The hotel is centrally located with major sights within walking distance. My room was rather small, but very clean, had all the essentials and the bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast offered everything I could ask for. And the hotel staff is fantastic! They are all smiling, service-minded and speak English very well. The reception staff is extremely helpful with booking tours, providing information about Krakow as well as everyday tips on how to improve your stay in Krakow. I hope to be back at Wielopole soon. Mette

Confortable and nice room, lovely and helpful staff, good position in town..
We've spent 3 nights in Wielopole and for sure we will choose it again for our future trip in Krakow.
We've been there over this new year eve and we had a lot of fun.
The Hotel is near the main square, with nice and confortable warm rooms; Staff is so friendly and everybody speaks really good english.
Breakfast time is cool from 07am till 11am, early if you have a busy day, or even late without rush if you had a vodka party the night before!

We were in Krakow for two nights and Wielopole Hotel was definitely a good choice. The hotel has quiet a modern feel and the double rooms are of decent size for a couple compared to the price we paid specially we managed to get early booking discount (30 days in advance).

One of our two rooms had balcony facing Holiday Inn, even though not a promising view, but still an outside space for fresh air. Staffs were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was quiet decent. Location wise, it is literally minutes away from the main square. I will definitely stay in the same hotel if I travel to Krakow again. I have added photo taken from the balcony of the area towards the main square.

Room Tip: Take the one with balcony!!!

I have just spent 3 nights in Wielopole Hotel in Krakow over Christmas 2012. This is the 2nd time that I have used this hotel.
Again I am very impressed with this hotel. It is as good a hotel as I have stayed in.
The rooms were very clean, well decorated and maintained.
The bed was comfortable and afforded a good nights sleep, the breakfast was great with lots of dishes available.
The girls on the check in desk are very welcoming and informative about Krakow.
When I am in Krakow this hotel is "home from home" for me.
Dont go anywhere else!!

A lovely hotel, staff all very friendly and spoke excellent English. Only a short stroll in to the centre of Krakow, the Cloth Market etc. Public transport excellent and we visited the salt mine via local bus network.

Very friendly staff. Great location. Small room but very pleasant. Good breakfast choice which kept us full in the mornings even if 7am was a little bit too late if we had to get out early. One slight problem was that the 'complimentary' tea in the room was not complimentary at all and would have cost us 5zly each every day to have the tea bags replaced - this is not explained mentioned on the website. Consequently we had to buy our own tea which was a cheaper alternative. For a 3 star hotel I feel this should be included. Overall though a good little hotel in a great location.

I really appreciated the location, and the staff who booked the taxi to the airport for me.
The room was already ready even if I arrived in the morning (at 11 am). I liked the elegant decoration! Heating system is working very well which is a great advantage as to the temperatures during polish winter.
The staff gives informations about city tour and historical center.
The city main shopping mall is 5-10 min walk from the hostel.
