“Cosy quiet spot”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 4, 2012

Stayed in this cosy, quiet hotel last October as a group and have to say it was absolutely fantastic. The staff, rooms, food, even though we only had breakfast was first class. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is there was no music in bar at night and no real bar service at night, just a night cap and chit chat among guests would be nice but I still would return as would all of my 20 friends that stayed there. It is very central and yet quiet at night for a sleep. Hopefully will return soon.

Stayed at the Wielopole in February and thought it very good value for money. The breakfast wasn't great but it was enough to start your day.
The restaurant / bar was a little cavernous but fit for purpose as long as you didn't want to spend an evening in it.
The staff were very polite and friendly and very helpful. The position of the hotel is very good for those who don't or can't walk too far.
Great city, great people and can't wait to return.

My wife, myself and her aunt stayed for 1 night in December 2011 at either end of a 3 night Christmas stay in Zakopane. I was very impressed with Hotel Wielopole. The rooms were a good size,
very clean, the beds were very comfortable and the breakfast was great, lots to eat and a good variety of food. I found Hotel Wielopole to be very good value. It was very easy to find walking from the Train station and was a short walk from the main square. We will definitely stay there on our next visit to Krakow! This hotel is a little gem!

We stayed at the Wielopole hotel from Feb 19th-23rd and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great area, 5mins walk to the main square and 10mins walk from Kazimierz. The rooms are small but comfortable with comfortable beds and a good shower, breakfast was typical of Polish hotels and we always found plenty to eat. The reception staff where always friendly and happy to help with any questions you have and are a credit to the hotel, when we return to Krakow (and we will) we will look to book at the Wielopole hotel again.

Stayed at the Wielopole from the 24th Feb to 27th Feb.

The hotel is VERY nice and the staff can not do enough for you and very welcoming. We arrived at the hotel early (10:30am) and they were able to provide us with 50% of our room bookings and the rest at normal check in @ 13:00 which was really good.

The rooms are of a great quality and in the UK you would pay so much more for the same quality. - but they do need to put 2 toilet rolls in each room as standard. (I had to ask the maids for an extra one which was not a problem)

The breakfast was fine with plenty selections from a cold buffet with a couple of warm options.
The hotel also does food and drinks. The pizza's are really nice (around £5 for a 18 inch stone baked) and great value for money and the beers and drink selections are priced well too (7 zly per large beer)

The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the main square and approx 10 to 15 min walk from the main train station.

The hotel reception staff are happy to make any bookings and order taxi's for you also.

I will be staying at this hotel again when I return to Krakow.

Many Thanks for a pleasant stay

We stopped at this hotel for 2 nights, 26-28 feb there were 4 of us travelling. We booked threw escape2poland (highly reccomend) our flight got us in at 10.30am so I emailed the hotel a few days before arrival to see if they could have our rooms ready early, which they did :)

Check in was very quick and all the staff that we came across were extremly friendly, my room number was 405 which had a balcony over looking the main street. Rooms were comfortable and the water left in the room was a nice touch. We all got vouchers for a welcome drink when we checked in which i thought was nice. All rooms have free wifi.

Breakfast is served from 7-10am in the hotel resturant in the basement it consisted of mainly continential as well as eggs and frankferters. The hotel is in a great location a few mins walk from the main square.

I cannot reccomend this hotel enough nothing was a problem for any of the staff and i would definitly stay again
