“Nice walk from Old Town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

We walked along the river to Salwator to see the mound. It took about 20 minutes from the Castle area but there is quite a hill to climb just to get to the mound so you may want to take a bus. The mound and surrounding walls were worth the walk but we did not go to the top of the mound or into the museum.

“Good place to see panorama view of Krakow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 24, 2012

Important place for polish people. This is a monument one of the biggest polish hero Tadeusz Kościuszko. It was build by the citizens by hand only.
Only interesting thing in this place is panorama view. The best is from the meadow below mound.

“The view”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2012

It takes a little bit to get there but you will not find a better place to over see the city. You can't beat the view.

nice trip you can walk from the city or take a 1 or 2 tram. Pathway up to it can be a bit dodgy however

“Worth the Walking... Fantastic View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

My boyfriend and I rented bicycles and we rode all the way to the foot of the mound. You pay a fee for entrance and that gives you the access to the mound and to the wax exhibition (not exactly great but it gives you a glimpse into a little of the history or Krakow, the defence unit and the fort).

Talk that little exercise walking up the mound and you will find a 360 degrees view of Krakow!
