“Perfectly preserved urban composition”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

It is part of Royal Route, the spine of the city. I love how well planned viewing axis it is, closed from the north by luckily surviving Brama Florianska (St. Florian's Gate) and from the south by the spire of St. Mary's Basilica. Absolutely fantastic composition, worth taking many pictures. The townhouses along the street are also worth looking at, admire the detail of portals and windows, some of them as old as 15th century.

I'm not a type of shopping guy so can't comment on that but there are quite a lot of places to shop and have fun/eat here too.

“Beautiful..”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 20, 2013

Loved the atmosphere, architecture and charm of the place! Got stuck at some of the boutiques though in the street there and purchased some super gloves and a fuschia knitted hat to bring home!

“polish alcohol tasting”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

all of the streets above old town were interesting for different shops-the one thing that stood out for me on this street was a little business offering tastings (and sales) of some unusual Polish alcohols, with a friendly and informative staff-learned about mead!

“Lovely,vibrant street”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

We stayed in Florianska at the Hotel Pod Roza (highly recommended) and loved being in this street. It was a bustling street with some beautiful shops and restaurants and a great place to 'people watch'. It's very scenic and leads directly to the main square with little lanes leading off either side. Florianska is well worth strolling along while you're in Krakow.

“Amazing beauty to start with”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

I believe that is the best place to start your exploration of the city. You will see an original part of the Krakow's city wall, will be able to visit Matejko's museum on your way (or if you don't know him, visit the museum at the main square first), grab some lunch in one of the numerous cafes or from one of the vendors in the street, buy something in the stores (Calzedonia, Parfois, Rieker) change some money, enjoy beautiful historical buildings and end up at the main Market Square.

It is definitely worth visiting and no one can miss it.
