“A little Gem!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2013

While you walk from Main Square to Wawel Castle stop on the Plac Waszystkich Świętych and visit this church. From outside it is a normal gothic church, but inside you will see something unforgettable. The walls and stained glass will make you forget about other churches and castle. Just go and see :)

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 19, 2013

This church is very atypical of European churches, as it is decorated in an art nouveau style.
What struck me about this church is the feeling of reverence inside. It is small enough to feel intimate and I felt quite intrusive taking photos, not because anything was said, it just felt so holy. A big attraction is the spot where Pope John Paul II frequently knelt and prayed in the back corner of the church. I would recommend this church when visiting Krakow.

“Beautiful artwork.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2013

Completely different to all the other churches you will visit. The stained glass windows and walls are all inspired by nature and in an art-nouveau style. Just beautiful. If you can use a long exposure on your camera the colours show their true shade and look even better, as with all churches it is rather dark inside.

“One of many churches in Krakow”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Don't get me wrong, this is a lovely church. However,I imagine the main draw is the archbishop's residence across the street. John Paul II lived there for over the decade and visited a number of times while pope.

“Art Nouveau beauty!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013

I visited so many churches in Krakow but this was my favourite. It is a little dark inside but I am sure this is to preserve the beautiful art nouveau paintings on the wall. the stained glass is stunning. there is no entrance charge for this church but I think it is one of the best. there is also a Turin shroud on display - a replica I assume ( my limited Polish couldn't decipher its description)
