The hotel's location is excellent! It's by the Florian Gate, the city's main entryway, and close to the train station -- about 8-10 minutes by foot (taxi driver didn't want to bring me there, plus street is pedestrian only). It's a few blocks from the Market Square (Rynek Glowny), St. Mary's Church, the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), cafes, restaurants, bars, stores and other sights.
The room I got was on the top floor (4th floor, but hotel's "3rd") with two small windows but with a skylight, which was a nice touch and made the room bright during the day. Although ulica Florianska can be busy, the double windows shut out the noise and room was very quiet day and night. Remote controlled air-conditioner was very good (one night had to turn it off because blanket was not very thick). The furniture (bed/table/chairs) were spartan, IKEA-like. Bathroom is clean, spacious; only amenities were shower gel and hair dryer. No safe in the room, and TV had very limited selections (only English channel is CNBC -- I know, but I like to know what's happening in the world even on vacation). There is a mini bar in the room and prices are comparable to what you would pay at some of the delis in the city. Be warned though that the hotel has no elevator.
Paid 340 zl (about $100), and included breakfast (cold cuts, cheese, bread, coffee/tea, juices, yogurt, cereals). They also give you 10% discount at their restaurant (Italian/Polish food), but didn't eat there since there are lots of great restaurants within walking distance.
Staff were very friendly, and helpful. They could arrange day trip to Auschwitz-Birkenau -- but pricey (160 zl. with 2 other hotel guests but cost me about 50 zl. by taking a bus and joining English guided tour offered by the museum).
