We stayed midweek 29 Apr - 3 May (which included two national holidays 1st May Day and 3rd Constitution Day - there was little disruption to the quality and variety of services available)
Hotel itself is superb. Our room was on the top floor 4th. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, spacious and it's smallish window overlooked St Peter and Paul's church opposite (where the orchestra of the City of Krakow hold regular one hour long concerts in the evening). Please note the hotel lift goes up to floor 3 so if you're not keen on steps then ask for a room on floors 1-3. Staff (eg Claudia on Reception) are polite, efficient and very friendly. Hotel location is wonderful - you're 5-10 mins walking distance from the Old Square one way and the Royal Castle and Cathedral the other. Schindler's factory (worth pre-booking to avoid queue) is slightly further away, but if you're not keen on walking then you'll find what can best be described as elongated golf buggies circulating around ready to take you where you want and for a more grand tour there are plentiful horse drawn carriages around the Old Square. We went around the castle & cathedral (NB some parts are free so you don't have to queue in the long queue that forms at the SINGLE booth Castle ticket office for timed tickets for later that day), but if you do want to see the State rooms, private apartments, Crown Treasury and Armoury then it's worth pre-booking or an early arrival at the SINGLE booth at the ticket office is recommended. The Hotel helped to organise a trip to Auschwitz/Birkenau - a respectful way to remember the past. (Claudia's tip to take your lunch with you on the c 6 hours trip proved invaluable). Great places to dine are the restaurant Pod Wawelem (opposite Castle) and Pod Aniolami - close to hotel same street - for both of them please arrive early or pre-book to avoid disappointment. Many of the attractions of Krakow are located close together in this delightful compact city that's easy to get around.
Wishing you a great holiday when you go there. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us and other TripAdvisor readers with your detailed feedback, I am glad that you had a positive experience after choosing Senacki Hotel.
We helpfully organize for all guests almost anything to guarantee a memorable Krakow holiday.
Our location is truly ”wonderful”– half way from the market to Wawel Castle, within a walking distance to the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter with museums, bars and frequented pubs.
Pod Aniołami restaurant is a great choice, and is located only a few meters away.
Claudia and rest of the team will be certainly happy to hear that you had a pleasant stay with us.
We are looking forward to welcoming You again at Senacki Hotel!
