Had a lovely time at the hotel senacki and would definately recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in krakow close to the main square (5 min walk) but far enough away from all the noise. Found staff to be very helpful and friendly all speaking very good english. Breakfast consists of the usual continental fare but you can order hot food aswell such as scambled eggs and omelettes. A superb restaurant close by is called 'under the angels' and serves very good traditional polish food but is a little more expensive than many of the restaurants Krakow. Had a very enjoyable stay in Krakow and will definately be returning in the future.

We stayed in the attic room at the Senacki for three nights. The attic room is big with a large bathroom as well.

The hotel's location was wonderful. Steps away from Wawel and a really short walk to the main piazza/square. The Jewish quarter is also a short 10 - 15 minute walk.

Staff was attentive and helpful. Their english was excellent and were willing and happy to answer our questions.

This is a brilliant hotel. We stayed for 3 nights in April 2007. The staff are friendly, the rooms are nice, the bed very comfy. The power shower is the best I've had a in long time. There's a pub in the basement and a restaurant on the ground floor, but these didnt seem to be busy and so didnt bother us, even though our room was on the first floor, maybe because it was April and the season hadnt got going yet. Breakfast was continental buffet but they also cooked eggs and bacon etc at no extra cost. The hotel is in a great location, half way down Grodzka street, which has some brilliant restaurants.
We got the train from the airport, and then walked to the hotel through the main market square, it takes about 15 minutes and its an interesting walk, so theres no point in getting a taxi if your bags aren't too heavy.
Definitely recommend this hotel. If I went again i would ask for a room at the top, just in case the pub gets busy.

This lovely small intimate hotel is very close to the Market Square and is very convenient to everything. We stayed for three nights in a suite which consisted of an outer lobby, sitting area and separate bedroom. It was warm and furnished very nicely. Breakfast was varied with mainly cold buffet but eggs were also available. The variety was certainly more than adequate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful and always eager to please. We took two trips booked through the hotel which I would advise as the Tour Guides were certainly most informative. The Salt Mines took approximately 3 hours and Auschwitz slightly longer. Don’t miss either, you will be sorry otherwise. There was only one very short period of noise from the street late one night as even tho this is a quite street, the hotel cannot control the loud mouths going home late. There is a bar downstairs but is very quiet, but there is a nice bar literally just around the corner. All in all a very nice hotel that is centrally situated and well worth staying in if you like the convenience of being able to walk to the centre. Would I book there again, yes absolutely.
