We arrive in Krakow with no planned accommodations and make a u-turn when a sign catches our eyes at 40 km/h.
Stopping at a security gate we inquiry about rooms and we are directed up a small hill to the hotel area of Camping Smok.
The front desk clerk is warm and friendly and shows us a huge comfortable room that will work just fine for our family of four. With free Wi-Fi and a nice hot shower, Camping Smok is a good alternative to the more expensive hotels in town.
This property is a combination campground and hotel with nice facilities like laundry and a small store where you can get some delicious early morning fresh breads and pastries.
From Camping Smok it is a short drive into the city center or you can take an inexpensive bus or cab ride into town.
We would definitely stay here again.
