“December 2013”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

We stayed in the Puro hotel for 4 nights recently. It has a fairly good location directly opposite the cracow galleria and a short 10 minute walk to the town square. The hotel is very new , fresh and modern, the staff are also excellent and very helpful. If I had to make one criticism it would be the size of the rooms, they are rather small, but this did not present a problem to us.

I am writing this review after being at this place for like 4 hours. Its awesome

So cool to be able to control all the lights and the blinds with Samsung Pads in the room. Including LED lighting in all rooms. I feel like a green overglow....done!

Get a room on the top floor - your extra skylight/angled windows are SO cool.

Great location, easy to walk to the old city

Cool coffee machines programmed to take your room cards (5x a day for free)

Would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Top floor!

Excellent place to stay in Kraków. Brand new. Cool. Good location, next to the main railway station or a short, 5 min walk to the Old Town. Nice, but small rooms. Very nice, young staff. Yummy breakfast (expensive, if you do not get it with your rate). Free wifi and coffee/tea all day long.

Stayed here for three nights and have to say overall one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in.

Arrived about 3 hours ahead of check in time but after enquiring if our room was ready we only had a 20 minute wait to get in there.

We had a double room on the 6th floor which was a good size with 2 smart TVs a good size bathroom with bath, shower and nicely heated floor essential for Krakow at this time of year.

Room was spotlessly clean and all the functions on the Samsung tablet worked very well. The free calls to any destination and wifi also worked very well. Reception staff very polite and very happy to help with requests for trip bookings and all handled very efficiently.

Price for the room was exceptional in comparison with a number of other cities we have travelled to and also for what was included in the rate (free wifi, calls etc)

Location is good, it's literally a 5 minute walk from the station platform for the train from the Airport through the shopping centre and a 10 minute walk into the Main Square.

It's a very cool hotel, very light and airy compared to a number of other modern design hotels we have stayed at although you do feel like you are walking through an Ikea showroom at times.Really liked the tablets stationed at various seating points throughout the lounge areas and also the interesting designer books in the centre areas.

If I had any criticism it would be that breakfast is far too expensive compared to prices in Krakow generally and whilst the idea of 5 free drinks a day from the machine is a good one its not ideal when you wake up in the morning and you have to go down in the lift to make a tea and a coffee and then go back up to your room.

Overall though couldn't fault it, excellent value for money, very clean , pleasant staff, good location and great room.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel for a stay in Krakow.

We stayed at Puro for 2 nights and I can really recommend this hotel. The location was perfect: opposite the mall - 10min walk to the market square - 20min walk to the wawel castle. It is a very modern hotel we very amazed!! We would definitely come back! Thank you again Puro Hotel!

I really enjoyed my stay at Puro Hotel. I travelled to Krakow by train so it took me about 5 minutes to walk from the train station to the hotel. Additionally, it's not exactly in the cente (old town) but it's a nice 10-minute walk from that area. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a small problem with the room temperature and they immediately offered to give me another room. Both free wifi (all over the hotel) and hot beverages (on the lobby) are available. Attention to detail when it comes to cleaningness is noticeable: everything was spotless. The whole design is very modern and technology is everywhere: you have free iPads with free internet access on the lobby area, a touch screen also with free internet access near the elevators and a tablet (also with free internet) on your room to control TV, use the internet and room temperature and light. Gorgeous place for staying while visiting such a lovely city!

A Nice hotel. With perfect location due to our stay. Next to a new and BIG shopping center. A short 5 min Stroll to the old city.

Good rooms.

A little poor breakfast for a high price. Was not much variation and if you ate a little late, the food was not "fresh".

Overall we absolutly recomend the hotel!
