This engineering museum has several attractions -
- An interactive exhibition with lots of hands on engineering exhibits
- A hall of polish cars like FSO Polonez and Polski Fiats
- A large tram shed with vintage trams from Krakow
- A museum about the history of printing presses in Poland
- A stamp collection
We visited because I have a strange liking for old communist era cars, so that part of the exhibition was of particular interest to me. My girlfriend is a teacher and she loved all the interactive hands-on experiments.
We went here late on in the day and only left ourselves 45 minutes to look around. We managed it, but we rushed and could have done with more time.
Entry is very cheap at 10 PLN, which is less than 2 GBP at the time of writing.
As others have said, this is an ideal attraction to keep kids amused on a rainy day.
Confusingly, there is a polish song library and a model rail club marked on the museum map. We assumed these were further exhibitions, but it turns out they are just private offices occupied by those organisations. I'm not sure why they bothered marking them on the visitor map.
