Stayed three nights at this hotel and can fully recommend for a short
break. The accomodation was a standard room, which was huge with every facility needed. We did not want to upgrade to get a river or castle view as we only slept there and we didn't need to.
The breakfast was of an excellent standard including champagne and smoked salmon. We drank in the bar a fair amount and the prices were very reasonable for a 5*The staff were excellent and a big thank you to Monica for organising our pick up from the airport and our trip to Auschwitz with precision timing. They supplied the people carrier as there were six of us and again it was so reasonable.
The town was wonderful and the Polish people so helpful and accomodating with great restaurants. The trip to Auschwitz was a humbling experience but not to be missed we learnt so much more than we previously knew. We also visited the salt mines very interesting, but very deep down, if you are claustrophobic. A fabulous place for a short break.
