“Close to centre & train station”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 16, 2012

I stayed at the hotel for 5 nights for work & the hotel was fine - easy walk to the train station & close to the centre for breakfasts & dinner.
Food at the hotel is not cheap & there are plenty of restaurants within 10/15min walk.
The room was fine - bathroom was a little "tired", but there was a safe & hanging space for clothes. The AC was noisy - too loud to sleep with.
I don't think that the hotel wouldn't rate as a 5 star in UK/other countries, but it was clean & basic with a good location.

Stayed here for three nights. Great hotel within walking distance of the Market Square and Kazimierz . Staff were very friendly and spoke excellent English - putting us to shame (again!). Room was very comfortable with lots of little extras - mainly of the chocolate variety! Didn't eat in the hotel, there is a great little cafe down the road for breakfast and some excellent restaurants nearby. The concierge organised our long awaited visit to Auschwitz and the mini bus picked us up at the hotel. Krakow is a beautiful and very interesting city. Perfect for a short break.

I have just returned from a 4 night break at this hotel. It is spotlessly clean, has large well cared for rooms, comfortable beds and amazing pillows . The hotel is a very short walk from the main square where you will find lovely cafes and horse and carriages. The food in the hotel is expensive compared to what price you will pay at the restaurents and cafes. We did have breakfast in the hotel on the last day which we found was very good. The staff were very friendly and looked after us very well. Had run out of milk and they were at the room within a few minates. The wakeup call is a little strange as we were awoke 1 hour before the arranged time and 15 minates after the next but that is are only complaint which isnt really a problem just to let you know to leave yourself time incase your wake up call comes a little late. They did apologise and as I say it wasnt really a bother. Will return and loved Krakow , so much to see and do and a beautiful city! The polish people are really nice. Can't wait to go back and I will stay inn the Holiday Inn.,

I would strongly recommend this hotel if you wish to get the most out of your visit in this wonderful city , The Hotel is literally within 5 mins walk of the main square of the old town , our stay was enhanced by a warm welcome from staff who are not just friendly but extremely good at whet they do , look after you! The Hotel is one of the best we have stayed at. .
Please enjoy.

Just returned from a three night stay at this hotel with our fifteen year old son, and we were all very impressed, having booked it all ourselves via the internet, we telephoned the hotel with a couple of questions before leaving, all very easy. All the staff were friendly and highly professional. Our room was fabulous; there was an enormous bed for us and a comfortable fold up bed for our son. Our bed was the most comfortable i have ever slept in, choice of pillows from firm to soft, from feather to hypo-allergenic. The room was very large with a sofa, huge TV, desk and chair, mini bar and large bathroom. Although we were on the front of the hotel there was no noise, apart from the odd siren from a police car or such like, the air-conditioning meant we didn’t have to have the windows open. There were nice touches like a box of chocolates on arrival and a single chocolate on each bed every day. Plenty of shampoo, soap, body lotion, comb, manicure set, etc daily. Our bathroom had a large corner bath with a shower over but no curtain, which meant water went everywhere when you showered, I ended up sitting in the bath to shower, that was a little awkward and my only complaint.
Breakfast is continental and very extensive, you help yourself and there is so much choice, lovely. We didn’t eat in there in the evening as it was a little fancy for us; we went to the Main Market Square each evening, bags of choice there all very reasonably priced.
The hotel is brilliantly located for the Main Market Square, just a 5–10 minute stroll, this is the heart of Krakow and well worth visiting, we were there every evening, it was buzzing with street entertainers, cafes, bars, restaurants, shops and horses pulling carriages for tourists, the whole place is enchanting.
We visited Schindlers factory which is within walking distance of the hotel with a map, there are tours that will take you or the hotel will get you a taxi. This is well worth a visit too, lots to look at in there, there is a small café and a souvenir shop. We also went on a tour to Auschwitz, through the hotel, very interesting and The Salt Mine, also through the hotel.
The Free WiFi is only in the lobby, bar and restaurant, you get a code from reception. If you want internet access in your room you have to pay. The hotel has an art gallery and a casino. There were no small children in the hotel when we were there, it is not really designed for young children, there is nothing there for them. Majority of the guests that we saw were older couples and families and business people.
On the whole the Hotel was extremely comfortable and we recommend it.

Room Tip: we had an Executive room, you get a few extras with that.

Large room even when had kids bed put up in it. Extremely quiet and clean. THe beds were so comfortable .... Worth every zloty!! Very near the main square - about 5 minute walk so all the convenience of accom on the Squae withOut the noise. Near enough to pop back and forth. Some car parking at front. 10 minute walk from rail station where trains from airport terminates. Would definitely return. CHecked in early without any problem.
