This is an excellent hotel for exploring Krakow. Located about two blocks from the old market square, it is an easy walk into town. The hotel has parking for 70 euros per day (little expensive but guarded). The rooms were nice, with the main hotel located in an old building, but most of the rooms located in two adjacent newly built wings. Only confusion was in the elevator, which opens both ways, depending on what floor and how you select the stop. Easy to figure out. Breakfast was excellent with eggs and omelets made to order available.
Krakow has a city tour conducted on electric golf carts, which is highly recommended. We got lucky with our guides, one of whom was working on his qualifications to be a walking guide. Therefore, we not only received the recorded English descriptions of the sights but also color commentary from the guide. The recordings are available in a wide variety of languages.
