“Outstanding!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2012 via mobile

My husband and I stayed here from the 26th Dec for 3 nights.
It was just superb. Our room was amazing, clean and the view from our window was over the market square with all the Xmas markets!
The first night we ate in the hotel and the food was just outstanding, along with the service.
If you are going to Krakow please stay here. You won't find anything better.
Thank you to the staff who were so helpful.

This hotel is probably my most favorite in the world.
My husband and I wanted to spend our last night in Poland on the main square. This hotel did not disappoint. From the service of the staff (extremely attentive and responsive) to the decor (stunning room design), we were incredibly impressed. The hotel does have a nice boutique feel to it, which complements the building and its location. We had a view of the Rynek Glowny which was quite beautiful. The rooms have DVD players and the hotel has a collection of DVDs you can pick from as well to watch on your beautiful TV and fantastic surround sound speakers. A fancy new Nespresso machine was a welcome addition to the room as well.

I would not hesitate to book a room here again. It is wonderful!!

Very friendly experience upon a very late checkin. Seamless, warm and welcoming - exactly what you need when arriving at midnight on a chilly -15 Polish winter night!

The hotel has a boutique atmosphere and an old world guest-inn style feel, which is synonymous with the Old Town setting in Krakow in which it is located.

For the location, is one of very few hotels located directly on the Market Square and therefore offers an atmosphere of closeness and proximity to all Old Town Krakow has to offer. The view in the morning is second to none and combined with the church bells ringing early in the morning - is best summarized by the word Quaint!

Rooms are comfortable, if however basic. Bedding situation was unique - could do with a pillow top and several more pillows - but certainly comfortable enough to provide a good sleep, especially when falling into bed after 2 in the morning.

Recommended for one of the experiences that Poland is great for!

Room Tip: DELUXE ROOM - with a view onto the Market Square is a must, to enjoy what this hotel has to offer!

The whole team at this hotel was fantastic! Service was impeccable and whoever owns this hotel should give them a big cheque at the end of each month, they are great!
The rooms and location are second to none and we've stayed there twice before and it just gets better each time.
Hope you enjoy this nugget of gold - really excellent hotel.
Well Done - keep up the good work and standards.

Room Tip: Location is brilliant - but be prepared for the man who plays the trumpet. Once there you'll und...

The Hotel is in a perfect location right on the main square and most of the rooms have fantastic views across it.
The size of the room isn't huge but is spacious enough. The decor is lovely with a sort of vintage decadence to it. All the rooms come with dressing vows, slippers, coffee machine in room- all the little luxuries.
The breakfast here is fantastic- it is in a really decadent room with slightly bizarre pheasant lampshades all over it. There is a huge selection of meats, cheeses, fruit, cereal, cakes and fresh,y cooked eggs and bacon (to order)
The staff are fantastic as well - will recommend places to go, make bookings etc.
We had a minor issue with the shower not working in our room and were immediately offered a new room which was great.
This is a great, romantic hotel which feels quite special while you are staying there. The location is fantastic and I would highly recommend it.
My one tiny complaint would be how hot they have the room temperatures set to- in the middle if December it was so hot inside we actually ended up sleeping with our windows open.

We stayed here for four nights 10-14th Dec 2012 in Room 42 on the top floor overlooking the square with a small balcony. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of tea/coffee and complimentary water. We had asked for a high room overlooking the square and weren't disappointed with our choice, the Christmas market and all its coming and goings could be enjoyed whilst in the room but the room was lovely and quiet once the balcony door was shut. Reception arranged a trip to Auschwitz/Birkenau with little notice from ourselves and the company they used was very good with a courteous, safe driver 9reassuring in the snow)
Good choice at breakfast with freshly cooked eggs and plenty of fresh fruit, cheeses, hams, cereals etc.
Besides the location the main asset this hotel has is the staff, everyone we met seemed genuinely happy in their jobs and always enquired how our day went and if everything was satisfactory with our stay. We'll definately come back to stay here.

We have just come back from a trip to Krakow, we stayed at this hotel. The hotel was great, in the best location, the view was fantastic. The staff were really helpful even before our trip. They booked the Salt Mines and Auschwitz for us before we got there and also arranged for a taxi to pick us up at the airport. The breakfast was lovely. Maid service was brilliant, they visit twice a day. Would recommend this hotel
