“Good experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

Hotel has very good location, city centre, Wawel castle, Shindler's factory are situated quite close. The price is also relatively good, including parking, what was also important for us. The only minus is the absence of the safe-box in the room.

Dear Sirs,

We would like to thank You for staying and for your valuable opinions about our hotel.
We are very glad that Krakow and our object coincided to your liking.
In fact, safes for guests are situated at the reception but I hope it was not a too problematic.

We look forward to see You again.

This is the third time we have stayed at Hotel Kazimierz, on arrival we were upgraded to very large four bedded room looking out to the front of the Hotel, the room was very quite at night-time. Television set could do with replacing for a modern flat screen also a new remote hand set, but this is only a minor thing!

The breakfast was a credit to the caterers, a wide selection of delicious meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, cakes, bread and jams, also available was a cooked breakfast.

The staff were very efficient, friendly and most helpful. Easy to get to the main square, within walking distance, good tram service.

Looking forward to another visit next year.

Thank you to all the staff, and cleaners.

For our 4 day break in Krakov, we chose the Kazimierz after reading Tripadvisor reviews. We were certainly not disappointed. From check in to departure we only ever met pleasant helpful staff.Very helpful on reception ,with directions and a city map.
The room on the 5th floor was not over large and had a sloping ceiling in one half. But this was not a major problem. We had twin beds, again not a real problem. There is a kettle and usual supplies ( just ask at reception for more if needed). Modern fairly large bathroom, shower hot and powerful. selection of toiletries. The pillows were not over thick, so another was quickly sent up to us.Both slept like a log, but maybe exhausted from all the walking in a lovely city.?Air con not over efficient, but could be a problem in hot weather, did not bother us.The FREE wifi was excellent in our room
There was a plentiful array of food at breakfast, but some a little strange to the English taste. However certainly enough to set you up for a days sightseeing. No safe in the room, but there is a safe box system at reception for free. You keep a key and they keep a key. both needed to open, so very secure.
Great location ,for Jewish quarter, Wawel castle and the Old Town.Lots to see within a 15-20 minute walk.To eat out, we recommend the Hard Rock cafe in the Main square,Manzana Mexican, opposite the hotel and especially Czarna Kaczka ( Black duck) on Solenska St for authentic polish cuisine. See separate reviews.
Overall a great hotel, which we would recommend and certainly return to ,if in Krakov

We stayed for 4 nights last September, we couldn't fault the hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable with air conditioning. The hotel is in an excellent spot with lots of good restaurants and bars close by. The breakfasts were amazing, not your average Full English but the choice was endless. The service from staff there was very good. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have booked again this year.

Rooms are very dated - not very comfortable - The air con at least worked well it was summer.

The breakfast was just not worth it - no seating placements - no cutlery at the tables - coffee from a Nescafe tin with a spoon in the tin!!! I simply couldn't believe this hotel as so tired and unorganised. 2nd morning we went somewhere else for breakfast.

The area is great!!! Location was brilliant - the area has many top rated restaurants - good food - value for money - if your tired of the Krakow square give the Jewish District a go - you wont be disappointed - just find a different hotel.

This is not 3 star hotel - more like a 2 star hotel - the photos are not all accurate - only a few are - this gets a high review and I am wondering why??

Room Tip: Try to stay away fro the 1st floor - you'll hear them setting up for breakfast every morning -

Dear Sirs,

We would like to thank You for using our services, and for sharing your opinion with other users of the portal Trip Advisor.
Your feedback is very important for us-thanks to that we know on what we have to pay closer attention.
Although this is a subjective feeling I have to admit that I'm surprised about your assessment.
After reading your description I had impresion that review concerned another object.
I would like to refer to a few points that you describe.
First of all - the hotel has a 3 stars (***) so fulfills all norms and standard assigned to that categorization.
Breakfast is served from 7:00-11:00 - so quite convenient time.
Restaurant is in the hotel on the charming mezzanine.
Are supported effectively by at least 2 members of staff so does not happen that our guests stood in queues to tables.
Breakfast buffet includes hot and cold meals.
Cutlery is available on the buffet. Coffee and tea are also available on the buffet in specially designed thermos.
Placed on the web photos of our facilities and the rooms do not deviate from the facts.
Taking into account that the hotel is located in an old, historic building and also bearing in mind the comfort of our guest-hotel continually invest in themselves and raise own standard.
Currently ended full renovation and reconstruction of the reception and catering facilities.
A few months ago have been put new wallpapers and renovated the bathrooms in the rooms.
In the near future are planned new investments -so surprise me your opinion that the rooms are "old". But of course You have a right to their individual feelings.
I hope that You do not completely wiped out our hotel and someday You will give us a chance to show in a new light .

Yours sincerely

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room was very clean and staff were helpful. The breakfast couldn't be faulted and we came away every morning with a full belly. The location is brilliant, within walking distance of the castle and market square. There are plenty places to eat right on the doorstep so if you don't fancy walking you'll be fine. The hotel is on a side street so the trams won't keep you awake at night. All in all a good value for money hotel.

Stayed here back in October, and travelled with my dad and a few friends to visit Auschwitz and Birkenau. The hotel reception is manned by a very friendly and very well organised group of staff who are brilliant in helping you to enjoy your stay. We stayed for a couple of nights are during that time, we had the breakfast which provided plenty of choice. The hotel room was well equipped with everything we needed, including a modern bathroom. If I was to stay in Krakow again, I'd definitely return to this hotel.
