“impressive interior”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Free to get in and very impressive inside, it is not one huge open space but loads of small chapels and prayer rooms. Nice views of Krakow outside the cathedral when you walk up the hill to get there.

“Everything on Wawel Hill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

The cathedral and the castle are all part of the attractions on Wawel Hill (although separate ticket offices). Entrance to cathedral is free however admission is charged to visit Royal Crypts and the bell tower.

“Amazing history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2013

I visited the wawel catherdral on an organized tour and it was worth having the tour guide there explaining the art history (even in the condensed manner in which he did) and all the major aspects to the cathedral. We saw Casmir the Great's tomb, etc. and visited the most recent tomb of one of the prime ministers. This place is full of history and needs to experienced

“Totally overcrowded , don't bother”

Impossible to get around , due to crowds , hard to find your way out too due to one way system . Church of Virgin Mary in main square more impressive and less crowds

“Breathtaking architecture and interior.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

In a commanding position, overlooking the wistela river. The interior of Cathedral is breathtaking. So much history with many Royal tombs here. A lot to see inside Cathedral. When visiting Krakow this Cathedral should not be missed.
