“A small piece of history of Jewish Krakow”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

I stumbled across this tiny synagogue as I was exploring Kazimierz. I was happy to pay the small entrance fee, as I could see that renovation works were trying to restore this once important synagogue. There are many interesting artifacts from hundreds of years ago. Make sure you visit the adjacent cemetery, which has a serene atmosphere, as you contemplate the gravestones, some of which look very old.

“Synagogue under construction and charging a small 5 PLN fee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2014

Extraordinary history (as many reviewers have commented), and I have nothing to add.

One point though: right now (June 2014), the synagogue is undergoing some major renovations. They're charging a 5 zloty fee to enter the synagogue and cemetery.

“Amazing”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2014

Despite it being run down and barely touched for years this Synagogue is still able to catch your breath.

5pln for the entrance and you are required to wear a Kippah whilst in there but the old grave yard as well which is attached is just as inspiring

“Represents the old Jewish Quartier of Krakow”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 26, 2014

My girl-friend and I toured the Synagogue which needs to be renovated urgently...Unfortunately I am not wealthy but if I was a millionaire I would definetely help financially for restaurations. Such a place must be preserved and diserves to be protected by the UNESCO...walls that have existed since the 14th century is amazing ... a great plce to visit
