“the worlds oldest shopping mall.....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2014

Considering it has been here hundreds of years, it is still a really lovely building. filled with both tacky local souveners, and amber jewelry, to more luxurious gifts, and cafes, it is a must see for every visitor, (you cant really miss it anyway). Nicely lit up at night
toilets are located at top end very clean, only 1 zlotty to use

“Need Mementos &/or Gifts for Friends? Here you can't go wrong.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2014

Most places similar to this would be a tourist trap filled with overpriced goodies (think Bayside in downtown Miami), but not so the Cloth Hall. From one end to the other there are small booths filled with the best that Poland has to offer (but be advised, you can find similar items at some of the stores exiting the JPII Airport and also just as reasonably priced) from amber rosaries and plenty of jewelry to matrushka dolls, chess sets, key chains, icons and everything in between. It's fun, loud and fulla tourists but you at least get to admittedly hear English spoken again! Seeing the various sigils of the provinces of Poland painted on the wall is also a nice way to learn a tad more about Polish history and the pride of this wonderful people.

“A Neat Place With Lots of History”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2014

The Cloth Hall, which is literally right in the middle of one of Europe's largest squares is a cool place to browse around. There are several stands in the Clothe Hall that sell all types of souvenirs. If you are in Krakow the Cloth Hall is worth a look.

“Amber jewellery”

Very good value amber jewellery, vast choice good for souvenir shopping market vendors friendly but not overtly pushy.

We walked though the cloth hall but didn't buy anything it all seemed nicely laid out but nothing I would want to buy. Worth I look if you are walking in the square.
