Don'f forget to check out the artists displaying there wares nearby and to go through the gate to see the old round fort.

“Remains of the fortifications”

You must see it as part of your travels around the city but not one of the essentials. It does however sit in a reasonably attractive corner of the city and could be seen in conjunction with a visit to the Barbican.

hat a nice entry into the town of Kracow. The artists portraits and scenic paintings hang on the wall are great. A real photographic opportunity and a beautiful part of the town

“The entry to the world long gone.”

To be in Krakow and not see and go through the Brama Florianska would be like going to Rome and not seeing the Coliseum. After you pass through it, you are on a very lively Florianska Street that is lined with great stores and restaurants. It is always very busy but worth seeing and shopping there.(Although the prices are quite high in most of the stores).

Plenty to see, and surrounded by lovely gardens. And the gate is impressive. Lovely original paintings to view.
