This is a great hotel. Its very well maintained with very spacious rooms. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful no matter what the request. The hotel is well situated within the town and is only 10-15 minutes walk from 3 different areas to eat and drink and all very cheap to.
3 of us spent two nights here each with our own separate rooms, so obviously more expensive, but still only paid 60 pounds a night a bargain indeed. You may see some others point out that the hotel is opposite the hospital, which is true, but not once were any of us woken during the night by an ambulance.

We chose this hotel because it was slightly back from the Old Town area and were really pleased that we did. We were in the city over the weekend and the main square area was extremely busy and noisy and we found our hotel a little oasis away from the noise. It only took us 10 minutes to walk into the square from the hotel and it was a pleasant walk which passed several nice bars and restaurants en route.

We were worried when we first pulled up at the hotel as a large party of Italian teenaged school children were checking in but due to the layout of the hotel we were not disrupted by that party at all. There was enough room in the restaurant for breakfast that everyone was catered for. The breakfast itself was basic but good quality ingredients and the staff made sure that items were fully stocked and the tables cleared with great speed.

Our room was large, clean and felt very homely. We could hear conversations in the next room but only because they were very loud!! The bathroom was huge and well laid out.

We would definitely return to this hotel

Small size hotel...
Very good rate of quality for the price.
Good location near the center of the city but in quiet place and with parking
Quality of bed is good compare to the Polish standard.
A very good address to visit Krakow without breaking the money pig :-)

My husband and I have just returned from Krakow & we stayed in Hotel Batory for three nights. It was very clean and had a very comfortable bed, there was also a free safe in the room. The buffet breakfast was lovely with cereals and yogurts, waffles and pancakes and also sausages scrambled eggs bread meat and cheese coffee and juices.
It is located about 10 minutes walk from the main square in a quiet residential area so very peaceful at night.
We are planning to go back to Krakow next year and would not hesitate to stay there again.

Small, quiet, clean and charming hotel with very friendly and very helpful staff. The breakfast is lovely. The hotel is a 10/15 minute walk into the Old Town. Only negative… my bed was slightly uncomfortable for me.

This hotel is quite nice-good breakfast- but too far from Krakow amenities- silverfish in bathroom!! I would recommend to stay somewhere nearer the rynek. Staff not overly friendly- apart from this.....could recommend a better hotel!

Room Tip: Stay neaer Rynek

The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated, the amenities are to be commended, free Wi-Fi, safe, umbrella's (!) and tea/coffee making facilities on request, more than we've been offered in 4/5 * hotels elsewhere! Breakfast is varied and well provided for. Only slight downside is the location it is at least a good 10 minute fast walk to the square or train station area - which when making the trip 2 or 3 times a day can be tiring. There is a hospital nearby but although we were on the ground floor we were not disturbed by the noise - the only disturbance was some young folks heading back from a late night and being rather loud, but you can experience that anywhere. The hotel staff are very helpful and provide excellent advice. Would recommend to stay here and would return if ever in Kracow again.
