“Not a "must see" but worth a visit if time allows”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

An exhibition in the actual building, rather than a museum as such. But powerful stuff, nevertheless. The building itself is so ordinary that it's hard to believe what went on there. About a ten minute stroll from the old town. Don't forget to see the Gestapo cells on the site too.

“A powerful place, everyone should visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

This place is tucked away from the main streets but well worth a visit. Very interesting and moving, from a dark time in history, everybody should visit so that we all learn and understand what happed here and to learn from it!

“Small but well worth a visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012

We visited this small museum which is called People of Krakow in Times of Terror. We visited before going to Schindler's Museum. Lots of information here about the atrocities that were carried out, plenty of first hand stories, photo's and history of the people imprisoned and their torturers. Nobody else was there except the staff, as it is only a 10 minute walk from the Old Town it will hopefully get busier. Very easy to find up Karmalika Street (where Mama Mia's is). Small charge but free on Tuesdays and entry to the Gestapo Cells is free all the time. Very moving.
