“Good vibes and free vodka, best hostel ever!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2013

The Pink Panther is located right in the middle of everything. It is close to the best clubs (which the staff is happy to help you find!), historic sights, restaurants and the train station. It has a funky character and a friendly inside. The dorms and bathrooms are very clean and clearly designed with the travelers in mind. The staff is friendly and very helpful and makes a point to make sure everyone is having fun! Each night offers a fun activity in the common room (free vodka tastings, chocolate fondue). I wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Room Tip: Any of them! Bigger dorms are not cramped at all though! Next to common room can get noisy if you...

Me and 12 friends stayed here on a stag do in August 2013. Great location (about 2 minutes walk into the main square of Krakow), friendly staff, nice facilities (bathroom, toilets, kitchen etc). Excellent as a hostel and they even managed to put up with us for a weekend!! Lots of interesting people about also, very international.

The best location in Krakow, friendly staff, everything was perfectly clean, good showers and toilets, big rooms, comfortable beds, great hang out area and balconies, and free events every day: beer pong, free vodka and sangria!!! By night, don´t miss the Royal Pub Crawl, it was lengenday!

An amazing stay, but unfortunately the first part of my review must highlight the fact that we stayed at the hottest time of the year and it was unbelievably uncomfortable because we were staying in a box room with two others and the open window faced inwards - so no breeze, temperatures over 40 and no room fans - we tried to buy a hand one but no luck - I guess that this is a hostel and I should accep that sleeping conditions are going to be rougher than a hotel with air con, but this is just such a small thing to add.

Rant over this hostel has a wonderful communal feel, with the staff making people feel so welcome - all speaking English, good welcome with explanation around the local area - which is literally a stone's throw from the main square and all the exciting side streets. The walls are full of up to date information about local trips and what to avoid - which is great when you get to a new place - comparrisons on how to get to various places, clubs to avoid, free museum days ... really useful. Then in the evening they have a theme, we were there during a vodka tasting, which kept on coming and a kareoke which was great fun - they had free wifi and computers and there were little extras like really good coffee for breakfast and smiley faces on the signs - it might be silly of me but instead of saying "all guests must clear up after themselves" the signs said "please clear away"

Fresh flowers, kitch yet cute and bright decor, fantastic shower rooms/bathrooms exceptionally clean and modern - beds were good and I would have been able to sleep on them had the room been cooler.

Overall I would either visit at a different time of the year or request a single occupancy room - it was a marvellous experience - real hostel life at it's best.

Hostel is in the perfect location, less the 3 minutes from the square, I really liked the building and it's interiors with a really cozy balcony. Good amount of key facilities for me - bathrooms and computers. Staff was really nice and helpfull - thanks and big up for Klaudia, Karolina and Natalia.

We're travelling round Europe and this hostel is by far my favourite. It was a good price, the staff were friendly and an excellent location about 2 mins from the main square.

We stayed in a 10 bed dorm, good size and lockable lockers. Loads of showers and toilets so never needed to queue. Nice common room area with kitchen. Everyone we met easier friendly and chatty in the hostel. We went on a big night out with people we met in the common room. Would recommend for groups or solo travellers.

The staff was not helpful and actually were quiet rude. The wifi was not working and it affected my payment when I wanted to pay with a card. They said it was my card when the card worked everywhere else. They didn’t have a phone we could use to call the card company. The staff refused to let us have the room until I went out and took out cash for it. They were not flexible and did not take responsibilities for their machines not working. It’s in an old building and it was not the cleanest. Get ready to walk up a million stairs.

Room Tip: get a room on the lower levels, In the summer it will be cooler and there are more bathrooms.
