“A lovely hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

We have just spent 4 days staying at the Queen Boutique. We cannot praise it highly enough. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was excellent and the one night we ate in the restaurant was superb. We shall certainly stay at the hotel again.

We had an excellent stay in Krakow visiting its many attractions and of course the Christmas Market...But the experience was made even better by three nights stay in the exceptional Queen Boutique hotel which is within 10 minutes walking distance of all the central attractions. We arrived on the 3rd December and left on the 7th having experienced service, friendliness and standards equal to any hotel that I have stayed in over many years! The Queen Boutique was spotlessly clean and very comfortable; we stayed in room 26 on the top floor which is at the back of the hotel affording excellent views across the gardens to the castle. The fittings and fixtures are all new and the bathroom is very modern and well finished including under-floor heating. We had three excellent nights sleep in a very comfortable bed, and the location, although central for all attractions, is very quiet...The breakfast is buffet style and served in the Amaryllis Restaurant which is part of the hotel. There is a really good selection of cooked food or continental breakfast as well as a selection of dishes cooked to order. There is also Champagne which is a really nice touch... On the first night we also ate in the Restaurant which was a truly sensational experience due to the five star quality of the food and service (see my Amaryllis review). In summary, if you are thinking about staying in Krakow you cannot do better than picking the Queen Boutique Hotel and we are definitely going back to Krakow in the summer, and of course returning to this exceptional hotel.

Dear Guests,

Thank you very much for your opinion. Read it it’s a real pleasure for us. Thank you for mentioning high standards of rooms equipment with nice underfloor heating in the bathroom and good service provided by our staff. Naturally the cleanness is especially important for us, so that’s wonderful you noticed it. We are pleased indeed, you found the breakfast tasty and varied and Amarylis Restaurant a magnificent experience. So there is one thing left to discover next time – our Queen Beauty&Spa zone, you should definitely try that!

We are delighted you had an enjoyable stay with us and you have such a nice memories:) We will be even more happy if you visit us again!

Best regards,

We travelled to Krakow on the 4th December for the Christmas Markets and to see Krakow via an Easy Jet Holiday. We chose this hotel as the reviews written were very good. It did not disappoint in anyway.
We contacted the hotel prior to travelling and upgraded to the sky rooms, which were on the top floor and slightly larger than normal rooms. We stayed in 26 and 29 and both were very good rooms. We also arranged the hotel pick up from the airport which was there no problems.
We went onto book the same taxi driver (Paul in English) for a trip to Auschwitz and return to the airport, all were better than expected with an excellent leather interior cab and excellent prices.
The hotel staff were all very very friendly and could not do enough for you. In some ways going back to victorian standards where they stand up as you enter the hotel or when you approach the front desk.
I can not fault this hotel for location either right in-between the main square, the castle and the jewish quarter.
I can only highly recommend this hotel and its adjoining restaurant (Amaryllis, see separate review)
I would recommend this hotel and we would return.

Room Tip: Try and get a room at the back of the hotel as these will be quitter than those facing the road, but...

This is a lovely hotel, with that 'newly finished' feel even 2 years on! Lots of great little touches; snacks provided at check in and an English newspaper provided in the room. Underfloor heating of bathroom is marvellous this time of year. Staff are friendly and helpful, eg when problems occurred with our room key, and ordering hot food at breakfast could run more smoothly. There is free Wifi in the hotel but varying speeds.
All in all, I would recommend to people travelling to Krakow.

Room Tip: Away from street and traffic, this also offers better view

Dear Guests,

Thank you very much for your nice comment. You appreciated our staff and those “little touches”, which are really important to us. Especially now, as we have just won Profit Hotel Awards 2012, in category Boutique Hotel. We believe, that family atmosphere, comfortable rooms and sense of security make the place right to stay in. This is also the reason why we still keep trying to improve our service.
We would be delighted to host you in Queen Boutique Hotel again.

We arrive here on Monday 3rd of December for 3 nights and could not find one single fault with the hotel. Staff all lovely and very helpful, rooms spotless and very modern, beds comfortable, location excellent.......just perfect!

I have stayed in many other European Hotels but they could all learn from Queen Boutique in Krakow - they have mastered the art of quality and customer care. Will be visiting again at some point in the future so if there is anyone out there with any worries about this Hotel - just relax, book it and go and be spoilt......the place is as good as they get.

Arrived at the Hotel on aThursday night about 10 pm, guy on the reception was more than helpful and told us that we had been upgraded to a room with a garden view.
The room itself was very modern and comfortable and I found the heated bathroom ceramic floor a nice touch .
As comfortable as the room was we decided not to waste the evening and headed out across the boulevard Jozefa Dietla into the Jewish quarter of the city as directed earlier by the helpful guy on reception .
There was a slightly apprehensive feel to the unfamiliar subtly lit streets but we were very quickly put at ease by heading towards a popular square in krakow called Plac Nowy, where we found in my opinion one of the best bar of the trip,The Antidodum .
This was a mostly candle lit bar with many separate rooms all equally charming, raw brick and plaster walls, mismatched bar furniture and a very relaxed atmosphere.
After a couple of beers I we decided to sample a vodka or two , I found one of which I became very friendly with called Orzech Laskowy a nutty hazelnut vodka reminded my partner of Ferraro Rocha's .
The following morning after a comfortable nights sleep we had breakfast at the hotel restaurant , again not disappointing, an assortment of pastries , cakes, cereals , fruits and English Breakfast all served by two competent waitresses .
On whole an excellent hotel , excellent location in a great city and all at a reasonable cost.

Dear guest,

Thank you so much for you wonderful review. That’s superb you found our hotel modern, comfortable and good located. I see you especially enjoyed the proximity of bars in the Nowy Square at Kazimierz:) Well, Jewish quarter has exceptional atmosphere and it’s just a short walk from the hotel. We are located exactly between Jewish district and the old town so other attractions of the city like Main Market Square and the Castle are a little further in the opposite direction.
We are really pleased to know that rooms, breakfast and service come up to your expectations.
We are really glad you liked your stay and we would be delighted to host you again! We will be happy to welcome you with a bottle of good wine.

I visited this hotel in February 2012 for 4 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. It was that great that my boyfriend and myself are returning next week (9th Dec) to visit the Krakow Christmas Markets. We cannot wait to stay in this hotel again due to the past experience which we had. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is AMAZING - with such a great choice and healthy options also which is super. Champagne is definitely an added bonus. Really luxurious and comfortable rooms. A central location which is very close to the square and main attractions. Last year when we visited in Feb, it was -26 degrees but the hotel was always very well heated and was lovely to come into whenever you had been out in those icy temps. The little treats at reception were another fantastic idea and treat when entering the hotel.

Cannot wait to visit you again in a week for another wonderful experience.
