“World class in kracow, finally”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

A little further out from the old town, this small basement has been nicely restored with plenty of interesting alcoves and a lovely atmosphere.

Food was inventive without pretentious and had real style without being over-the-top. There was plenty of choice and thankfully there was an excellent wine selection and great service too!

A firm favourite already.

“Interesting”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

Went here on a recent trip to Krakow. It was interesting in several ways. It is in the sort of business district, so slightly out of centre - you really need a cab to find it. It has a very unprepossessing doorway and you go down stairs to get in. To be honest if we hadn't booked we would have walked straight past - it does not look at all appealing. Inside has been done nicely but it has zero atmosphere - it is a sterile business lunch sort of place. They have just got it wrong.

Service was very good and helpful. Food was pretty good and slightly different. Deserts are magnificently presented with spun sugar and Heston Blumenthal type gastro techniques - but they are tasteless and all the gimmicks don't add up to much. Wine once again very expensive.

This place could be great but it needs work. And also needs a few fewer staff I would suggest - there were loads of them for about 4 covers on a weekend night - all kind of lined up cause they couldn't wait for us to leave so they could close.

I might go back - but it needs to improve.

“Creme Brulee is to die for”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

We found this place on trip advisor and decided to take a look - the meals were beautiful I had steak and my boyfriend had chicken and we both had creme brulee which was to die for. The service was excellent and the meals were presented professionally. Glad we decided to have a meal here during our stay in Poland.

“Excellent Experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

The food here is superb and the service attentive. Definitely worth the short walk out of the old town, and although a little ways out the restaurant is easy to find. We were not disappointed by any of the items we ordered, from the appetizers to the dessert. Our waiter was very friendly and spoke excellent English. The price is above average fro Krakow but the meal was spectacular and so the cost was very reasonable by U.S. standards. This was our #1 meal in Poland and we sampled many places. Highly recommended.

“Delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

Take a few steps out of the city center to eat at this restaurant. You will NOT be disappointed. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere and staff were delightful. The food was beautifully presented and tasted even better! Appetizer, entree, and dessert were all absolutely delicious. I was so impressed with the service, food, and atmosphere. For the quality of food that you get, the price is extremely reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone stopping through Krakow!
