“Corporate hotel but good for the tourist!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the Jewish quarter where you'll find nice cosy restaurants and then a further 10 minute walk will take you to the city centre. The hotel is in nice quite area and there is also a large shopping mall right next door!
The hotel is a new build so it has all the mod cons, the rooms are clean, although the bedroom carpet was a bit marked, there are tea and coffee making facilities which were restocked daily although they didn't appear to like giving you extras!! Pool area is lovely, clean and laid out well, the pool has extra features, bubble machine, huge waterfall etc. Breakfast was really good, I'm an gluten free but still found plenty to eat, AND it's on until 10.30am! There is an honesty 'chocolate Bar' too, great idea instead of a Mini Bar! We paid £260 for 4 night BB, parking and wifi, bargain, though it was November but still great value!!

I stayed 2 nights in this nice hotel which is located in Kazimiersz, the previous Jewish quarter. It looks over the Vistula River and it is easy to reach from it the attractions of Krakow. Pleasant room and good breakfast. Good value for its price. The bar has a bad service and the waitress didn't know what is an icecream cup........

Modern, very clean and incredibly well-staffed, this hotel provided an excellent base for our stay in Krakow. Although it seemed a little far from the centre at first, we soon got used to it and found it useful to work off the remarkable breakfasts. The pool, sauna and steam room were excellent. Bedrooms spacious and view from the 6th floor a bonus.
We were delighted to be invited to the owners' 25th business years celebrations...a free bar always goes down well with Scots!

Room Tip: Ask for the 6th floor.

We booked this hotel for a 4 night city break in Krakow and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The pool and spa area is amazing, a great way to unwind after a day sightseeing, we had it to ourselves on two of the nights we were there. The breakfast was first class, plenty of choice and they had sausages, eggs and bacon the Saturday. We found the reception staff to be most helpful, providing us with detailed instructions on how to make our way to the salt mines using public transport. The main square is around 25mins walk away but if you have time its worth taking a stroll along the river (over the road from the hotel) which takes you down to the castle and old town. If you want a tip for a meal out, try Pod Wawelem - good food, big portions and fun atmosphere - cherry vodka not to be missed, best to book a table at weekends.

The hotel was great. I picked it for my birthday break and so glad I did, I made the right choice. It was clean, the room was of a very good standard, we had an ice making machine just outside the door near the lift... great for a late vodka! I liked the idea if the use if your key card for the lifts, very good security feature, you could not get to the rooms unless you stayed in the hotel. It is situated a distance from the main square, but there is a lot to see on your way there, so you don't tend to notice how far you walk! the most it took was around 20 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful, you can eat as much or as little as you like, lots of choice from fresh salmon to bacon & eggs.. caters for all tastes. Food at the hotel was expensive compared to the restaurants in the Jewish Quarter nearby, we ate there one night, but regardless of price it was extremely nice. The hotel staff are very helpful and are attentative at all times. The pool, sauna, steam room & jaccuzi was very clean, and mostly empty especially at early evening. Overall we had a fantastic stay and will definitely book this hotel again.

Room Tip: We stayed on the 4th Floor and had a great view of the river

I stopped here for 3 nights and really enjoyed myself. The staff were really friendly and were really helpful in providing information, booking taxis and allowing me to check out at 3 rather than the normal 12 o'clock time.

The breakfast was excellent and I used the swimming pool and sauna everyday. They are really clean and were always empty when I used them. The open plan bar is cheap and you get 10% discount if you show your pass. There is also a PC with free access to the web. A nice touch.

The rooms are a decent size and spotless. There was bottled water left each day and the tea and coffee making facilities was a bonus. The bed was really comfy and the mattress was a memory foam type like the one I have at home so slept well. The only gripe I had was that the insulation between other rooms and the corridor was not brilliant and often could here people talking and banging about.

I visited the Salt mine and booked via the Hotel. The price was better than others quoted and the bus picked me up outside on the Hotel so no messing about!

The Hotel is a little away from the main tourist area but I enjoyed the work along the river. It is about 25 minutes into the centre so will not suit all.

One big bonus is that the Hotel is next to a brand new shopping arcade. There are about 50 shops and cafes, most international brands are there and I enjoyed wandering around it and had some pleasant lunches in their. There is a Polish version of Starbucks which I used and was cheap and top quality!

I never ate in the Hotel as I used a restaurant called 'Restauacja Cieplarnia' which is 2 minutes walk and next to Pizza Hut. The food was cheap and I really enjoyed all 3 meals I had. Recommended!

I would have given the Hotel 5/5 but the lifts completely did my head in! There is piped bird tweeting on a constant loop... why??? I found it really annoying. The lifts are really slow too and only one goes to the swimming pool situated on -1 floor so sometimes I had to wait for the other. You need to use your room pass for them to work and many times I saw others struggling as the passes could be temperamental.

All in all a decent hotel and much cheaper than the nearby the Qubus hotel I usually stop at (the Qubus was full). Would I stop here again? Only if much cheaper than the Qubus. If I did, I would ask for a 6th floor room as per other reviews, it seems the quietest.

Room Tip: Ask for the 6th floor and use the lovely pool!
