Description: We care for your health and carefully choose the ingredients for the dishes we prepare for you. Here at ZIELONA KUCHNIA you will find only the green cuisine, just as our name suggests. We only serve the finest selection of vegetables, fruit, organic meat, grain products and so much more. Our location may be new but the building itself, right on the courtyard of the council house nr 8, is over 100 years old.We were simply charmed by the wonderful atmosphere, the beauty and the long history of this place. The building was erected around 1908 and was destined to hold a blacksmith and locksmith business. After the First World War a local print shop was open here for years, and all of Chopin’s works were printed here for the first time in history. Today it is a great place for having a cosy get-together and enjoying yourself in great company.

“Good food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

Had 2 plates of pasta for dinner with my boyfriend. A little off the city centre, but a quiet place with lovely atmosphere to spend a nice dinner together.

Decently priced, great pastas.

“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

Tucked away down a small side street in the University Quarter lies this hidden Gem. Through an archway it opens to a lovely garden playing soft classical music. On a warm summer night it was wonderful. The food is wonderful too. We had the sirloin steak twice during our weeks visit. Thick tender and juicy served with a beautiful salad and either roast chips or mash. £8 for a main which would normally cost at least twice that much. The waiters are professional and attentive. Well worth seeking out

“Very nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014 via mobile

We had dinner in this little restaurant which was just one block away from our hotel. The small yard is really njce, service is friendly and fast for local standards and food was quite good, specially the sides. Price is also more than reasonable, so this place is quite recommendable, don't hesitate when you see the shabbý front door.

“Simple but sophisticate.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

I had to try this restaurant after reading so many positive reviews about it. I wasn't disappointed. We set in the pleasant courtyard as it was a warm evening. The food is presented in a very professional manner and the combination of different tastes was truly remarkable. The price was much cheaper then you would expect to pay for such quality.

“Almost a private experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2014

Following Trip advisors' recommendation we reserved. Because it was raining we were one of two tables. They served as though we were their private customers. Rowena didn't like her vegetarian choice, but that seems to be a common problem in Poland for vegetarians. Restauarant was quiet, courtly service, and mid-price.
