“Using Krakow Discovery makes Krakow fun and easy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2010

I recently visited Krakow with family and friends. Our visit only lasted a few days but we managed to see so many of the most important local attractions - Schindler Factory, Warwel Castle, salt mine, Tatra Mountains, aircraft museum, Auschwitz - thanks to the fantastic service of Krakow Discovery. We hired them initially as a convenient option for transportation around Krakow and to some of the more distant spots beyond. As a bonus we enjoyed recommendations on good places to eat, help with ticketing at the tourist attractions and friendly companionship that made the journeys to and from the more distant attractions much more enjoyable. I highly recommend using them - they were our Krakow-based friend eager to show us around their wonderful home town!

“First class service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2010

Back in October we went on an exploratory family holiday to Krakow Poland. While there we booked the services of a local tour / transfer service - Krakowdiscovery.com. What a great bunch of guys; punctual, polite, enthusiastic and full of in-depth local knowledge, with an almost magical ability to get us to the appropriate venue on schedule (and more importantly to the right queue for some of the most popular ones!) & always waiting patiently for us afterwards. The Old City and the "must-do" sites - Auschwitz I and II, the salt mine at Wieliczka, Zakopane in the mountains to the South were all successfully negotiated, and somehow they often guided us to an excellent Restaurant afterwards (we particularly enjoyed the Potato pancakes and Goulash - very welcome after our hike in the mountains, but not to be tackled without building up an appetite first!). We have all decided that we have to go back to revisit one or two places, as well as catch up with some others that we missed this time (Schindler factory and museum, Jewish quarter, to say nothing of most of the City of Krakow itself). Immediate plans centre around the New Year for the Ski / Snowboard season in Zakopane, and we will definitely be contacting Slawek and his associates again, apart from anything else to resume the eating contest!

“Highly Recommendet, Excellent service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 1, 2010

Due to being coaxed & cajoled by some Polish colleagues at work I and my partner recently took a long weekend (5 days) trip to Krakow in Southern Poland. What an astonishing place! Full of history from the 12th Century right up to the present day, all within easy reach - The Old Town and Wawel Castle in the centre, the must-visit concentration camps; Auschwitz and Birkenau, the Schindler factory, Wielicza Salt Mine, the recently updated Polish Aircraft Museum, Zakopane and the Tatra mountains... Then each evening back to the environs of the Main Square and Cloth Hall (so much more than an Arcade!) for a diverse range of eating experiences and delightful musical interludes - anything from Classical to Jazz to Club and beyond, even Argentinian Tango demonstrations - eat your hearts out you Strictly Come Dancing fans; this was the real deal! We couldn't believe how much we crammed in during the time we had allowed ourselves. Not all of which would have been possible if we hadn't heeded advice and used the services of a local transport and guide service rather than try to find our way round the public transport system (excellent though it no doubt is) or to hire and drive. Thank you to Slawek and your team at Krakowdiscovery.com for enabling us to get the absolute most from our 5 days in your lovely City!

“Krakowdiscovery.com just made everything so easy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 24, 2010

We used Krakowdiscovery.com for all our transport requirements on a recent family trip to Krakow in Southern Poland. Excellent service - airport transfers, trips to Auschwitz, Wieliczka (amazing Salt Mine!) Zakopane in the mountains to the south - punctual, informative, helpful throughout, full of in-depth local (very useful on the days we were on foot around the Old Town and nearby city suburbs - also recommend the recently upgraded interactive museum at the Schindler factory by the way) prices were competitive compared to hiring/driving for ourselves, and so much more convenient than trying to find somewhere to park anywhere near our B&B close to the Main Square. Furthermore Slawek and his team were pleasantly enthusiastic devotees of their own lovely City, which helped to make our time there even more enjoyable.
