“Delightful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Ate here twice during our stay in Krakow and I had dumplings on both occasions.
Plenty of food that tasted good, cheap beer and friendly waiters/waitresses make this a good choice in Kazimierz.

“Good choice in the Jewish district.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

We ate here twice during our stay in Krakow and were very pleased with our meals. This restaurant is placed at the end of a long line of restaurants at the center of Kazimierz.
I had the pumpkin soup and my partner chose the dumplings. I also had cucumber salad and browned beetroots as side dishes. I got a whole garden of beetroots and the cucumber salad was well put together. The soup was creamy and rich in flavour, delicious! My partner enjoyed his meal as well. Afterwards we found out that this place was recommeded by the michelin guide and I can understand why.

If you want kosher food, several of the dishes here are good to go(marked with a menora in the menu)

“A little gem in Kazimierz”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2013

We came across this restaurant whilst wandering through the Jewish quarter of Krakow and were immediately made to feel very welcome. The service and food were impeccable (try the herrings). Only downside was the persistent presence of a woman asking for money, who sat down at the tables, but who fortunately didn't speak English.
There are quite a few restaurants in this street (Szeroka); we certainly couldn't fault this one for quality or value.

“High quality Jewish restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Great food at reasonable price. I would specially recomend jewish pasta. From our outdoor table, we had a view at Old Synagoge and a band playing live klezmer music.

“Try the chicken”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 19, 2013

We were staying in the Jewish quarter for a number of days and tried a number of cafes.in the area. Like most, service is slower than we expect from home but can recommend both chicken dishes ( stuffed with spinach and covered with almonds and with tsimmes )
House wine is good enough to drink with a good range of other alcoholic beverages.
My only complaint is that this seems to be the main cafe in the area with the most smokers dinning-perhaps just there at he wrong time and day
