We upgraded from a twin room to a deluxe double (Room 308) and it was well worth it. The room was large and well appointed - flat screen TV, mini bar, one of the best bathrooms/walk in showers you could imagine, and the comfiest bed of almost any hotel we've stayed in.
Also worth noting was the functionality of the double galzed windows that kept the room as close to silent as was possible, and terrific black-out curtains.
The hotel also has a restaurant, set in a delightful basement, which we, unfortunately, only used for breakfast (fantastic buffet, and also the availability of having food cooked to order - omelettes, crepes, smoothies etc - and mega friendly/efficient waitress staff).
The hotel itself is very boutique and modern in style and sits on the Royal Way (Florian Gate to Wawel Castle).
It is also no more than 150 metres to Krakow's Stare Misto, the main historic square - a real bonus.
The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops (and even a KFC) but don't let this put you off; if you want a real quality place to stay, somewhere central to the historic sites and where the staff are mega helpful and friendly, then this is for you.
On our next trip to Krakow (Yes, we'll be back) this is where we'll be staying.
A true deluxe experience.
