“Would not us these people again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 25, 2011

We arrived just after dark at their Offices in Krakow. Were given poor instruction on location of car park (on the outside of Old Town). Then had to walk with cases for 10 min to Apartment, again the instruction were poor. Not a good way to start you visit.

The enterance to the Apartment was down an ally way which looked like a builder yard. There were bricks, steel RSJ's and a skip all to be walk around before you could find the enterance to the Apartment. At 6:00 each weekday morning the builder started work so there was no chance of sleep after that time

Thank you for the review. I am very sorry to hear that our service did not fulfill your needs. All our apartments are located in the Old Town and unfortunately in the heart of the city, next to the Main Square, there are no car parks. Most of them are located in a short walk from the Planty Garden. So we always show a map of car parks around the Old Town. As for the directions to the apartment, we have photo guides about how to get to the apartment and which keys to use to open the apartment. I am very sorry, you did not find this useful. I wish you could tell us more about how to improve the directions so that it's perfect. I would very appreciate it.
As for the works in the adjacent building, it's the external investor who carries out those renovation and we have almost no influence on it. However, we try to keep a good ambience inside the apartments. I will try to talk to the investor about the hours of renovation works and I really hope it will get better. We have apartments also in 2 other buildings in the Old Town, so I really regret we didn't know about the problem with your reservation during your stay. I am sure we could find a solution and move you to the apartment in the other building.
However, I really understand that you feel disappointed and I would be very grateful if you could contact us directly so that we could discuss the whole situation. Please accept our apology once more.

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2010

I booked this apartment through apartments apart website. We were in apartment 20, which was on the third floor. We arrived by a taxi which had been organised through the hotel. No problems. On arrival at the office, which was in the same building as the apartment, we were greeted by the staff. We were tired after the flights, and were given a key to our room and pointed in a direction. No offer of help. Three flights and 90 stairs later, with two suitcases we had managed to get to our room, which we hadn't been told was accessed by a balcony. We opened the door to a nice enough room, which was comfortable and reasonably spacious, but it was very very hot. We managed to open all the windows, and I went downstairs to notify the staff that I couldn't turn off the heating. We were visited by a member of office staff who poked the heater, shrugged, and didn't fix it. We were there for 4 days and it didn't get fixed. Full blast heat the entire time.

My next problem was the shower. The water was so powerful that it leaked out all over the floor every time we used it, and we had to use all of our towels to mop it up. Lucky that the excessive heat dried them I suppose! We managed to make a system that caught the water, but to be honest it was a great deal of effort just for a shower.

The room itself was split level, a comfortable room and living room / kitchen. The room was quite noisy at night, but this may just have been because we had to have all the windows open. The apartment is bordering a very busy road, dietla street and horns and trams can be heard at all times.

Second major issue was that we were told that there would be a wireless internet connection. There wasn't. On mentioning this to the office (who seemed to be getting sick of me, although it wasn't my fault!) i was told that it would be fixed and accessible in one hour. This was on the first day. It wasn't accessible for the whole of our stay, and we had to connect to a network meant for a lower floor, which was consequently unreliable and poorly accessed. I had to sit in certain places in the room to get a signal. I had problems accessing simple websites, which meant that my main means of navigation and restaurant research was severely hampered.

Lastly, on our last evening, even though we had a reasonable stay in this room, we were having trouble getting to sleep in our sauna. Then at 2am in the morning, the man who lived next door (be warned this is also a permanent residential block) began playing very very loud slap bass music, with his door open. When i knocked on his door he seemed suprised. How can you be suprised if you are disturbing people at that time in the morning? And to top it off, the fridge stopped working on the last evening, and all of our water for the flight was warm.

We had a great time in Krakow and saw lots of wonderful things, but this was incredibly hampered by our choice of apartment. As a general good choice of hotels and apartments, I really hate to leave a review that is so scathing, but I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what we did.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2009

Just returned from a fantastic trip to Krakow and stayed at the Kazimiez Residence. Got an excellent deal with last min.com which included flights with British Airways and breakfast. We were on the top floor ( Only disadvantage was their was no lift) but we were so surprised when we opened the door to this hidden gem.
The apartment was amazing, it was big enough for 6 people, two bedrooms and one sofa bed but very modern and had heated floors for the kitchen and bathroom. The breakfast was linked to the hotel but another bar and is an excellent location for the town centre for sight seeing and the jewish district where most of the life is.
We were not bothered by anyone and want to go back and stay here in the summer.
Only downside was that the water ran out on the shower but being five ladies..could be that we just spent too long!!!
